Expense claims - Add reference to bill
Add in the facility to include "description" when using the expenses app.
Its included in all other transactions, but when expenses imported via the app it loses this feature. Wouldn't be difficult to drag this line in surely?
Purpose - would increase visibility/transparency when reviewing credit cards

Yes please to this feature - so hard to track the costs in our cash flow when they're all called "Expense Claim"

I have the same issue as those who've commented below. When you're running multiple projects, being able to add a reference as expenses are loaded would make reconciliations so much easier. I do add a reference in the details field, as has been suggested, but you can't see those on screen, which you could a reference. Please Xero, this would seem to be a fairly easy thing to switch on.

It would be very helpful if Xero added a reference field to input a project number/name in expenses with Xero Expenses. It would allow me to reconcile project details to the Account Transactions, since Account Transactions cannot be filtered by project name/number. Currently, I sort Account Transactions by Reference, and can then reconcile to Project Details, but Xero Expenses transactions don't include a field for entering a reference number/name, so I have to manually add them in each time. This is a real pain for me too! employees complete expenses on different projects (tracking categories) but I can't see on the bills list which items are on which project - so I have to sift through them one by one. Being able to put something in the bill description when the expense is approved would mean I could bulk all expenses for one employee/project and make one payment. It would be a *huge* time saver!
