User Roles: Invoice Only users are able to view paid invoices under contacts tab
Currently it is not possible for a user with the Invoice Only access to view paid invoices under the contacts tab. It doesn't make a lot of sense that they can view all of the invoices however when in contacts can only view invoices that are unpaid.
Sorry for not updating you sooner here, team. We've just released an update for Invoice Only roles in Contacts. What you can see will now be dependent on the level of access the user has.
- Invoice Only Draft will no longer see the I Owe and They Owe columns,
- Invoice Only (Sales) will only see They Owe, and
- Invoice Only (Purchases) will only see You Owe.
This change applies to sorting on the page as well.

It makes no sense that users with invoice access cannot see paid invoices under the contacts tab
The search field under business - invoices is not as good as the one in contacts. You cant search on customer account code which can make finding an invoice very difficult for a high volume business

I totally agree and came here to find other users who also find this ridiculous.
This is made worse by the fact that Standard users can see paid invoices AND open quotes on the contacts page - ie in one tab.
For the "invoice only" users the only option is to open 2 business tabs - invoice and quotes, search for the contact in both and keep switching between the tabs.
The user settings needs to be a picklist, not "pick the role that's closest to what you need".
@Mariah - other users are making the same point in other ideas. Please upvote their requests too. Maybe we will get noticed!
