AU Payroll | Timesheets - Add multiple start, end & breaks
It would be helpful with the new Timesheet features to be able to add more than one work time and break time per day to allow for split shifts.
Hey everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback throughout this thread. It’s clear how important this feature is, especially for staff working split shifts.
I’m happy to confirm that our latest update to timesheets brings the multiple start, end and break times feature across to the updated timesheet experience, and will be available on both Xero Me mobile and web.

This is a critical requirement for us to be able to use the new "Start and End Times" Timesheet Type to match existing functionality – staff are able to add multiple line items using the legacy "Total Hours Worked" type.
I would love to switch to the new type, but it's missing too many critical features.

This is vital to be useful for employees who work split shifts. There currently isn't the flexibility required to use this feature

Maybe not enough for others, but I would like a field in the Add Time function within Projects to enter time to deduct for that entry. (And it should accept either hh:mm or decimal hours.)

Yes this would be very useful. Also if there was a comments section next to each line so our employees could include the Job number they were working on.

Yes would be very handy feature. As we attend multiple jobs a day, so you can book the hours out correctly.

Very important for our employees to have opportunity to enter split shifts as this is a regular occurrence for them during picking and harvest seasons.
