Quotes - Approval process similar to invoices
Require functionality that allows quotes to be sent to management for approval before they can be sent out to customers.
Purpose: to reduce business risk and ensure prices / vendor terms are agreed and approved.

It is extremely important that quotes to customers are correct, as that becomes the price that gets invoiced. Because it is so important that they are correct, it makes sense and seems obvious that there should be a facility to submit them for approval to a manager or other person in my organisation. Just like I can submit invoices, purchase orders, and bills. I just can't understand why Xero doesn't include this basic functionality.

An excellent idea & just what I've been attempting to achieve within Xero. A fairly basic requirement since businesses don't want to send out erroneous quotations & estimates. Should be easy to implement with just a tick box setting designating who has to approve before the send button becomes active.
