Bills - Bulk assign lines to a Project or customer
It would be good to assign multiple rows of expenses to a customer and/or a project at once. The use case is I travel to a client site for a week and have multiple expenses, hotel, travel, subsistence etc to re bill in one hit. At the moment I have to go through multiple steps for each line of expense to assign to a customer and it takes a very long time.

Hi Matthew and Michelle 👋 thanks for engaging in community here. It's actually already possible to assign multiple lines of a Bill to Project in Xero.
From within the Bill or Spend money, once you've added your lines, just click the 'Assign expenses to a customer or project' this'll open a modal from which you can select all and pick the Project or Customer you'd like to assign all lines too.
We also have another idea for assigning multiple bills to a Project at once that you may be interested in supporting across here. 🙂

Yes please! I really want this feature too.
I’m a professional services provider. I find the process of assigning expenses to my clients (about 5 clicks), then onto an invoice (1 or 2 more clicks), very time consuming. I sometimes need to travel interstate to see clients, and they ask me to pay the costs then recover the expenses as disbursements from them.

PS I am on a Mac, I don’t tend to use iPhone for transactions
