Any information on where this idea is on the road map? It's been over a year since it's been first suggested?
I would have thought it would be included in your new invoicing feature for a simple change as this in your app since you already have a receipt for sending money but not receiving?

This is very important and would love to see this change soon.

We would like to request the addition of a feature in the Xero app that allows users to easily send receipts. We suggest placing this feature next to the invoice section or in another appropriate location for quick access.

I agree, I often mark invoices paid when using the app, especially when payments come in and I am out and about at clients etc - so annoying that I cannot send a receipt from the app! would love to see a less cumbersome way of getting to receipts too in the website version, at the moment it is a mountain of mouse clicks to get there before you can 'send receipt' there should be a button column listed next to the invoice in the list of invoices saying 'send receipt'

I agree with this request as some of my customers want receipts not the zero balance invoice. After reconciling the invoice in the App it would make sense to be able to send a receipt from the App too
