Disappointing there’s still no facility to send orders on the app. 12 months ago, II thought this would be sorted rapid. Time to have a squint round and see what else is available. Or is it caveman me who doesn’t know how to do it?

Why on earth isn’t this a feature already I will never know! Can we have an update from Xero support regarding this

What is the use of being able to create a PO in the app and then not be able to send it - very frustrating and totally pointless.

The purpose of an app is to be mobile. Creating a purchase order while on the stock floor and sending is vital to keeping myself and team efficient and having to then go to a pc to send this is not time or cost effective for me.
With invoicing etc available from the app this seems like a simple fix to steamline this process.

In what use case would someone want to create a PO, but not send it?

This is a critical item for tradies out and about in the field. Not being able to send a PO from the phone app is very unusual

Currently have to screenshot PO's and email when purchasing in store.

This is critical for our day to day, if this isn't going to be updated in the future we may need to look into a different accounting system for our small business.

Without this feature it turns a 5 second job into a 5 min one.

This feature would be a significant factor for me using the Xero App more frequently. When purchasing items in store it is crucial to be able to send the supplier a copy of the order.

Only just started using PO's and slightly gobsmacked to see that you can create one in the App, but not send it to the supplier! What the....? The PO is really for the supplier's benefit, not really mine, but yet I cannot send it to them.... seems like an easy fix/addition please Xero?

What the flip? Why would anyone want to enter POs on their phone and NOT send them to the supplier?

Very counter intuitive - there are so many people needing this function but I see nothing has been acted on since it was raised in 2022. What might it take to get this feature up and running please?

I can create & approve a PO via the phone app but then not send it. ?????

This actual is a really critical and yet basic feature I really need for my work- I am unable to generate and email purchase orders from the app while I'm on the road. I need to be able to organise and send them off quickly while between between jobs so I don't end up with a pile of random receipts and paperwork to decipher at the end of the week of a million jobs.

It seems more like oversight than feature.

when are we likely to see progress on the development of the app to allow orders to be emailed?

Xero - more focus on the beginning of the accounts process will allow us all to make better use of the software - matching orders with invoices is a good first step in checking invoices are payable.

It's Abysmal. Can this be done in QuickBooks?

Seriously need ability to email purchase order from mobile app

App is useless without it.
