Difference of Invoice template between Preview and PDF format
I have discovered that the invoices as they appear in the Preview button of an invoice only gives a preview of how the online invoice will display. This is therefore different from the PDF version of the invoice when it is downloaded as a PDF or sent to my clients. The PDF version looks a lot messier and looks far less professional. It was informed that, it is currently not possible to make the PDF version appear like the Preview version, or vice versa. I would like to know if anyone else has some ideas of how to align the two.
Hi everyone, recently we made a change to the Preview option in new invoicing. Now, when you select to 'Preview' in new invoicing this'll open a new browser tab with a view of the PDF of the invoice. This means you can also see how your invoice will look to the customer with a docx / advanced branding theme applied.
Our team are also doing more to look into how preview works and how your invoices look. We'll update again if there's more development to share.

Ridiculous that they don't match. I asked my supplier to correct our business name, they did but the pdf still downloads with the incorrect name!

This is driving me crazy. Hideous pdf without critical information included in preview. Why can’t this be fixed?

I see in other chats that this has been raised as an issue for years but Xero hasn't done anything about it. @Xero help - are you simply not intending to fix this issue?

Currently when one previews an invoice, the formatting looks OK. However, when one prints or emails the PDF, the formatting is all over the place. Surely the PDF should match the preview!!!
