New Bank Reconciliation report - Include note for foreign currency exchange
Exchange rate on bank reconciliation report
For foreign currency bank accounts, the old bank reconciliation report used to include a note stating that the exchange rate per xe.com that was used to translate the bank balance to the home currency at the report date. This was very useful information to include, as it confirmed the rate and the source of where that rate was obtained. This is not included on the new format bank reconciliation report pack. Please could this note be brought back on the new format reports?
Hi community, apologies we've not returned to this sooner. Pleased to share that foreign currency disclosures are now available in the Bank Reconciliation Summary report.

I agree with the comments already made that when an entity has foreign currency accounts the exchange rate showing on your bank reconciliation was very useful. If Xero is wanting businesses that run foreign currency accounts to switch to Xero I think leaving this off your new reports was a step backwards in gaining this business.

On the old reports when reconciling a foreign currency account the bank report shown the Sterling balance after conversation from the respective currency and also the exchange used at the date of the reconciliation,
The new report does not show this exchange rate. It is a useful piece of information when downloading the report to put on file for others to review
Could we get this added to the new report?
