Projects - Expense Date to be shown on the invoice
Add an expense date to a project
When you enter expenses under projects, a date is required. We would like that date to appear on the invoices.
When you say you'd like the expense date on the invoice - would you expect this to be visible just in Xero, or o your customer as well?

To the customer as well! I would say sort of obvious, as Xero already demands that you input a date for the expense, and can see it if you go to the expense detail, but then weirdly has no way to actually show it on an invoice other than manually typing it in, not just a calendar pick as when you input the details. Daft.

Agreed. When Time is booked to a project the Individual and Date flow's through to the invoice. But when an Expense is booked to a project this information does not flow through to the invoice - just where the expense was incurred and what it was for. It means if multiple people are booking to a project a client cannot see who incurred the expense or the date it was incurred. It's an essential requirement.
p.s. Copies of expense receipts should also be appended to the invoice (Harvest have this feature). -

Can we please introduce the bill date next to Untracked Expenses under the Tasks & expenses tab??
I have raised this issue a number of times previously but haven't heard anything.
I understand that the date can be accessed by opening the bill or viewing it, but this is very tedious AND if you open the bill, you can't easily find your way back to the bill you were looking at. It is extremely difficult to navigate these expenses when there are thousands of them attached to the project, so having the bill date here would be SO much more convenient.
I look forward to hearing.
Thank you,
