Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how a detailed Profit and Loss report could support your workflow.
Atm, the Account Transactions report can be run grouped and filtered by Account, which could then be exported to Excel for further sorting and analysis. While we appreciate it takes a few steps, it can give you the transaction-level detail you’re after.
Alternatively, clicking on any figure in the Profit and Loss report will take you directly to the corresponding Account Transactions report, showing the individual transactions that make up that total.
Our product team has moved this idea to Not in pipeline, meaning it isn't on the foreseeable roadmap. However, the idea will remain open for votes so we can continue to monitor community interest as we plan for the future.

Hi everyone, thanks for all of your valuable feedback on this idea. The number of detailed comments clearly show how important this feature is for many of you.
We also agree that this would add significant value to Xero Expenses. That’s why we’re pleased to update the status of this idea to Accepted. This means we have reviewed your feedback and it aligns with our product vision.
While it is a feature we’d like to build, it’s not currently on our roadmap, so we can't provide a delivery timeframe just yet. We will share another update on this thread as soon as we have more news.

When you say you'd like the expense date on the invoice - would you expect this to be visible just in Xero, or o your customer as well?

This is very important to clients. Is there a way in Xero to automatically apply the current IRS mileage rate under mileage claims? Right now, everyone has to manually enter the rate when they submit a claim.
