Workpapers - Integration of bank statement request portal
Integrate a bank statement generator into bank feeds so accountants and bookkeepers can send a request directly to the clients bank for a bank statement for quarterly bank reconciliation. Pre-approved by client when bank feed integration is setup. Alternatively, automated bank statements per quarter generated and uploaded to Xero via bank automation.

Right now, your current options are to request documents and information from your clients using the existing queries feature in Workpapers. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
While we don't have this feature on our current roadmap, we'll continue to monitor this request, and make sure to keep you updated if there's any progress.

I have been requested to provide a statement with the following:
2) Your IBAN / bank account number
3) The RIB / bank confirmation from your bank (if available)All other banks like: Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, Starling provide statements with this information. I have found an example online, it contains this information on the top right hand side.
At Xero there seems to be no option to download or request a statement containing this information. I have been informed in order to request for this information it needs to be voted for approval, which surprises me.
I am raising this as it should be something already added with the account

Automated bank statements per quarter imported into Xero would be very helpful, especially in the event of bank feed errors and duplicated entries.

You could try Collately.co Google Sheets Xero Add-on. One of the coming features is to have live bank feeds download directly into Google Sheets. This way you would have two sources of information to ensure Xero bank feeds is correct.

It would be great to have access to the clients Bank statement to confirm Xero data is correct. I am surprised at how many clients struggle to supply a bank statement!
