AU Reports: Gender Equity Reporting
Appologies in advance for my frustration.
Are Xero considering providing a Gender Equity report in the future?
I raised a case for our HR Dept last year and the answer from Xero was no.
If any community member has any short cuts on gathering this info, please respond to this post.
I am wasting so many hours trying to gather the required data from your available reports.
In April I exported Employee contact details to export & sort.
This morning I have been exporting Renumeration data and then sorting deleting non date range required emplyees. Due to no date range option for this report.
Then this afternoon moved onto manually saving a PDF Payroll Activity Summary report for each business loaction (11) and now each individual employee (176). (can't find anything shorter that lists allowances seperately and totals ).
Why this report is not available as ALL individual employees I'm not sure. Drilled that down by location would be even better.
As a business we are chased to comply and provide this information annually - our lodgment deadline is 31st May each year.
.
I'm sure Xero's HR/ payroll departments are aware of this annual Gender Equity reporting to the Australia Government.
This information was much easier to gather from the old PAYG employee summary reports which listed allowances seperately (Yes everyone I know I'm old!).
Failing a standarised AU Gender Equity report, and the fact Xero will not supply old fashioned Report Generator access to users (allows any data title to be included in a report you build yourself - time consuming but at least you can get most data in the same location), are you able to provide a summary report in PDF & Excel format that supplies Payroll Activity Summary in a single all employees report with excel export. Then that data could be sorted and added to with data from various other reports to get close to lodgement data required.
Sorry Guys for the waffle.
Hope some other users can offer their wisdom on how they handle this task.
I'm so over my head.
Many Thanks

This is not yet critical to our organisation as we are an association, but anticipate it will become very important since the February 2024 reporting of the WGEA data. Please xero, it can't be that hard to make this report for us!
