Payroll AU - Ability to have multiple payslip templates

Please add the ability to have multiple payslip templates for multiple businesses trading within the same entity. Ie so their different logo's for the different trading names can be attached to the employee group for that business tracking category.

Hey Tanya, we don’t recommend running multiple payrolls from the same Xero organisation. As there’s only support for a single payroll account, business name, and ABN per Xero Organisation. This information must be included on each payslip, and would need to be edited prior to posting each pay run.

Posting payroll for multiple businesses from the same Xero Organisation can also have an impact on your record keeping, especially when it comes to finalising your STP and employee superannuation for the year.

    I have a client that has 2 different Business names under the banner of one ABN. They want to have different payslip entity names. This is also another scenario you dont want separate payrolls and an entity for each business.

    @Ethan M Xero itself has had different business names with the same ABN as they're different business names held by the same entity.

    So it's entirely possible that Xero would have wanted to run Australian payrolls for:
    - in 2009, Paycycle Australia and Xero Live Pty Ltd
    - in 2009-2012, Paycycle Australia and Xero Pty Ltd
    - in 2012-2015, Paycycle Australia and Xero Australia Pty Limited

    You've actually misunderstood what Tanya means Ethan.

    In Australia an ABN belongs to an entity. That entity may have several businesses under different trading names. It is usually smaller businesses or those in the start up phase and their profitability is kept separate easily with tracking, branding themes & different email addresses to send invoices.

    Sometimes a business may not want employees to know about the other trading, so it would be helpful to have multiple payslip templates to keep this separation and to align with different branding themes.
