Lock Dates - Option to edit invoices due dates within a locked period
Hi there, it would be great if we were able to edit the due dates of invoices that were created in a now locked period, our business (and I'm sure many others) have invoices with due dates that often change.
We do not need to change anything other than the invoice due dates so if this could be added even as an optional feature for a locked period that would be very useful.

Does anyone know if Xero will be looking into this or if there is a work around? I have a client who's period I have to lock as they have a habit of changing sales invoices when the Year End accounts have been produced but they still need to be able to update the due date. I now have to continually unlock the period, change the due date, allow them to email the invoice out and then relock the period

We have been using Xero for about 5 years or more, and we are able to change the due date on our invoices even though our accounts are locked at year-end. We are not able to change anything else on the invoice once the accounts have been locked.
It would be interesting to know if anyone else can change their due dates.
I have noticed that the new system does not allow this to happen, which is very frustrating when we have always been able to do this.
