just like overtime wages, it's important to separate unused annual leave paid from regular annual leave paid because this will enable accountant to quickly cal-check whether super guarantee has been calculated/set up correctly. it's impractical or inefficient if we have to check all the pay item settings.

This would be helpful when not only checking SGC for the year, but when calculating termination payments for the payroll tax annual return and workers compensation annual declaration of wages. I would really appreciate seeing unused leave paid on termination displayed on a separate line in the payroll activity summary report.
Our accountant has sent me this page from Xero that might be helpful, although I will have to wait for a future termination to test it and see how it comes out in the reports.
