Invoice Email - Ability to edit "Review and pay" banner
The "Review and pay" banner misleads recipients into thinking they can make electronic payments, but we're not using e-invoicing and have it turned off. Another major issue is that it causes significant delays in loading or, in some cases, renders the invoice completely inaccessible. The banner in the new invoicing should be named "Review" rather than "Review and pay" or be editable to suit different needs.

Hello.
To get the 'Review and Pay' button/link on the statement email removed you will need to raise a case on Xero.
Ask Xero's product team to remove the 'Review and Pay' button from your account.
Unfortunately there is no ability to remove this functionality yourself.

The new 'Review and Pay' button/link on the statement email to customers is not suitable for us. We don't use Xero for sending invoices to customers so we would like to remove this functionality from the email.
Please make this feature as a removable options.

'Review and Pay' button on statements is confusing and misleading for our customers.
Please please please make this a removable option rather than a fixed feature.

Very disappointing - this new "Pay & Review" buttons appearance on statements has made what was a 30 minute task to send out statements to our clients into a manual 14 hour task - Reckon is easier than this - Please make the ability to opt out of this "feature" a high priority.

This week, a new "Pay & Review" button appeared on the emails that accompany statements that are emailed to customers directly from Xero. This button cannot be removed. You will see this button if you email a statement to yourself.
If your customer clicks on the button they will be taken to a screen where they can see all outstanding invoices, and the detail behind the invoices.
Can you please make this feature optional for customers who use third party software invoicing and only use Xero for sending statements.
Please make this feature something we can opt out of using.

Hi, we also don't use a payment service and it is very misleading for clients to "Review and Pay" when this can't be utilised, when sending Statements, also agree that customising the green colour and even being able to select if we want the button at all would be beneficial

I'd love it if we can customise the colour of the green 'Review and pay' banner so it is in line with our company's blue colour. At the moment, the green and blue colours that already show in our Xero emails to customers attaching our invoice really clash now the green 'Review and pay' banners appear. Would really appreciate Xero considering this.

Worse! Sending the "Review and pay" email for a paid invoice which says "thank you for payment received..." is confusing. The customer then contacts me annoyed because he has PAID.
I cant use it until you fix it or enable me to change the Green heading bar. (If I can change it, I would say THANK YOU for your business..." ) -

To add to this thread, I use GoCardless integrated with xero, so the payment of the invoice is automated by GoCardless, but the invoice email button states 'Review & pay' when the customer does not need to pay it manually because GoCardless will take payment. Xero really need to allow for this button to be removed or changed, it’s confusing customers.

We set up and use a branding theme 'online payment' when clients select to pay with credit card via paypal. This will be sent as "Review and Pay". But if I use just our standard theme, it will be sent as just "View Invoice"
This can be edited in 'Edit Branding Theme' under the Payment Services dropdown menu. -

would also like to be able to select whether or not to display the invoice details in email body as clients have complained that it is confusing when only some items lines are shown
