An error occurred while saving the comment Emily McRorie commentedWe set up and use a branding theme 'online payment' when clients select to pay with credit card via paypal. This will be sent as "Review and Pay". But if I use just our standard theme, it will be sent as just "View Invoice"
This can be edited in 'Edit Branding Theme' under the Payment Services dropdown menu. -

Hi everyone, while we appreciate and initially provided a solution for the idea here within the new invoicing email modal, we wanted to return as after further testing this feature has needed to be removed.
That said, we know being able to add basic formatting to your emails is important to some of our customers and while the tool bar has been removed you can still add basic html formatting to your emails to bold, add italics or underline text within the invoice emails you send to customers.
- Bold = <b> and </b>
- Italics = <i> and </i>
- Underline = <u> and </u>
We understand not all customers are familiar with these tags so I've added an example image that shows the different tags that can be added and how these will show instantly within the email preview so you can make sure you email looks as you expect.
If…

Hi everyone, returning from my last update I wanted to confirm that we have released generative answers in Xero in app help for all customers.
We appreciate this isn't a direct live chat feature that is being asked for in this idea and will move the status back to Submitted, however we'd recommend giving this a try when you're next looking for an answer while working in Xero.
This feature takes into account what page you’re viewing, and the version of Xero you use, to do the best to ensure that the information provided is relevant to you.
Live chat is not something we have planned at this stage but if any steps are planned toward this, we'll let you know here.

Hi everyone, we value your input on the new invoicing experience and hearing the specific features that are of importance to you.
We have some updates planned for the contact card where you can enter details of your contact within new invoicing, and as part of this we'll be providing the ability to edit the Attention to field.
We'll keep you up to date with progress of this through the idea here.

Hi team, appreciate the feedback here and it appears there are 2 differing ideas being bought up here. This idea was originally started relating to the invoice branding theme. Being open, while we will look at improvements to invoice templates down the line this isn't planned just yet.
More recent conversation appears to be related to the new invoicing send modal and formatting of emails sent from Xero. We have a slightly different idea those who are interested in this can join and you'll see I recently updated - While the tool bar has been removed from the send window, you can still use html tags to format and preview how these look in your email.
An error occurred while saving the comment Emily McRorie commentedYes, I agree this is important. My invoices look misaligned and there's nothing I can do within the standard templates to fix it.
The customer address always sits in further from the margin than all the other information. Making the padding 0 does not help. It would be good if the product team can adjust the layout so it looks neat and all in line.Emily McRorie supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Emily McRorie commentedAgree with all on this fix.
We operate with 2 business names, and it looks silly when invoices are expected to come from one name, and the other name appears at the top of the invoice email with the other name.Emily McRorie supported this idea · -

Thanks for all your feedback here, everyone. The way you add description only lines in new invoicing is a little different to classic and we wanted to explain in hopes it'll help with how you're using new invoicing.
When entering a description only line, you can enter text in the description field of the line. If you add detail to any other field the line will be treated as a 'financial' line and you will need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax rate.
When an inventory item is added this uses the item code field and the line is treated as 'financial', so it's not possible to use inventory items as description only lines in new invoicing atm.
We appreciate this is how many of you here have been making use of inventory and our product team are closely monitoring the feedback we're getting on this. Though we don't…Emily McRorie supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Emily McRorie commentedAdd in the description field without a monetary value.
It would be good if we can add a description to the invoice without putting in a monetary value within that row.
Sometimes we have jobs where we describe the work done in the description field (which we could do in old invoicing) and want no $$ there within that row, and then add the $$$ rows underneath.
If I do this, the invoice appears with 0.00 in the description row which looks messy.
Does anyone else have issues with the Xero invoice templates and the customer address being not in line with the rest of the invoice? How did you fix the issue? Why can't Xero align the standard template correctly without me having to make up a custom template?
