Email Settings - Customise style
I would like to be able to customise the styling on the invoice emails sent to customers. Changing the colour of the buttons etc.

This would be so easy to implement. But I think the Xero dev team are more interested in implementing stuff people DON'T want or need.

I would love the ability to change the colours of buttons to match the colours for my brand. I would also love the ability to change the way the email and amounts are displayed so I can make things less prominent if I want.

Hello,
When sending an Invoice there is a panel that starts with this words, "Hi' etc which is the content of the email sent. How do I go about adding some HTML to that. I want to add a bit of HTML at the time of raising the invoice.
Specifically I want to include a Link for the display of an image.
This is a High Priority for us.
Please advise.
Thank you.

I would just like to able to use BOLD or UNDERLINE fonts in my email templates! Pretty basic formatting options would make emails much more likely to be read by clients.
Solution found! See https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/45048391-sales-invoices-templates-extra-formatting-opti

Please let us be able to edit the new look of the emails being sent to customers. We personally do not like the big bold details that have been added since new invoicing started. Compared to how our invoice emails looked in classic invoicing, the new details look like we are raising our tone at the customer, and it looks more demanding. We would like to have the option to either edit or remove that part of the emails to customers. For reference, please see the attachments for the difference between new and classic invoicing emails.

Don't force us to use the email format Xero has set up with new invoicing.. We need to be able to edit the format for items such as:
- Not having the dollar amount in HUGE numbers (This appears to be screaming "YOU OWE US MONEY".
- Not displaying the currency AUD (We only have customers in Australia. We don't want to imply that our customers don't know what currency they should pay in.) -

Can we have the control to change the color scheme/add logos etc to the email receipt clients get when they have paid an invoice by clicking on the email and paying through stripe/PayPal et. Currently it is very unbranded and not in our corporate colors. Thank you

I need to edit the word VIEW INVOICE from de EMAIL TEMPLATE when the email is sent to customers. It is the only part I cannot edit and because of that I am not using the function of sending emails from XERO. I have to download my invoices and send one email by one from my gmail. Please, I need this function working.

The email template, for example sales invoice, controls most of the email body but not all of it. If the email template starts "Hi [Client]" for example, the actual email generated automatically adds content before this, namely a logo, company name, amount and due date. I would like to be able to control this content as well, but it seems unchangeable. In contrast, the invoice template allows full control so you can apply various branding. Please can you open up all the email content to be controlled by the template.

I can't believe that the offensive bold price cannot be toggled on/off in the invoice email.
From a business that touts the tagline "Beautiful Business", you couldn't be further off the mark.
Pricing and payment details are the job of the invoice to display.
The email should be a polite way to introduce the charge.Your analytics might tell you people are 'clicking' on this CTA area, but they won't tell you how offended long-term clients are with a dirty big dollar amount being the first thing they see.
Looking elsewhere for bookkeeping on account of this feature and templating in general for that matter.

I would like to bring to your attention a specific aspect of the invoice emails sent through Xero, which I believe could benefit from further customisation options.
One of my clients recently pointed out that the default format of the invoice email, particularly with the amount due being prominently centered and displayed in a large, bold font, can feel a bit overwhelming and impersonal. After reviewing this, I can understand how it might come across negatively, as it highlights the payment due in a way that can feel more like a demand than a courteous request for payment.
In my experience, the tone and presentation of communication are just as important as the content, especially when it comes to invoicing. I believe allowing users to have more control over the layout and presentation of invoice emails would greatly improve the client experience. Specifically, the ability to modify text formatting, adjust the prominence of the amount due, and perhaps even add personalised messaging would make a significant difference in how invoices are perceived by our customers.
I would like to request that Xero consider adding this level of email customisation for invoices in future updates. This would give businesses like ours more flexibility in crafting the right tone for client communications and maintaining a professional, customer-centric approach.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.

That will be great but unfortunately,Xero will just ignore this one too as they normally do with most of their users requests.
See you back here in about 5 years and this won't probably be anywhere close to implementation.
Same as the option to delete contacts. It has been requested for years and nothing happens. Typical Xero.

It's unbelievable to me that I can't at least set the colour or text of the "Pay Now" button...

I'd like to support this as the button colours are coming out green for me which makes it look as if I'm using Sage or QBO!!! Not the look I want to go for! I would love to use our brand colours but Xero blue is fine too for me. Just please not green!!!!

The ‘fresh new look’ you have decided to give invoice emails is garish and on the verge of being offensive/pushy - WE ARE NOT A FAN! - and we have been told that this cannot be adjusted!!!!!!!!!!! - REALLY!!!!!!???? - not impressed!!!!! - give the option to amend this or put it back to as it was, please!!!

Our emails look off-brand. Changing the button colour would help for "Review and Pay".
