    Thanks for your continued engagement and valuable feedback on this long-standing idea, everyone. We've been carefully reviewing your comments and want to acknowledge the clear sentiment of frustration regarding the current limitations around managing multiple addresses for contacts, particularly for invoicing and delivery purposes, and that this is a critical feature to many of you.

    We want to share an update on our progress here - We're pleased to confirm that the foundational work for handling multiple addresses has been completed within the Contacts area of Xero. This was a crucial first step. Building on this, now that all customers are on the new invoicing experience our product team has moved into the discovery phase for adding multiple addresses directly within invoicing. This means they are actively exploring the best way to implement this functionality to meet your needs effectively.

    Kerrydean Ltd, please note that the message you're referencing is from April 2024. This request was submitted more than ten years ago, and Xero hasn't bothered to respond in over a year. They obviously don't see this as an important feature.

    Still waiting. Not holding my breath. No response from Xero (Kelly Munro Apr 9,2024) in over a year on an issue that's been ongoing for over a decade.

    So disappointing. The initial request for this is well over ten years old. We had to create a work around for this more than five years ago. You'll just have to understand that most of us have no faith that multiple addresses will ever come to fruition.

    Hi Muriel,

    Don't hold your breath on getting an update from Kelly or anyone else at Xero on this.

    The original request is OVER 10 YEARS OLD. It seems Xero is more interested in changing features that used to work to features that now require multiple clicks in multiple pop-ups to complete the work that could be done with one or two clicks in two screens previously.

    Our work around is to create a separate account for each address we service for the same company. But you can't use the same account name more than once, so we add the number of the street address after the business name for each separate service address; NSW Realty 45, NSW Realty 903B, etc.

    Hello Kelly,

    This feature was requested over ten years ago. The recent "upgrades" to contacts has actually made contacts more time consuming, confusing, and difficult to use. It would be great if Xero could continue to move in the direction of making the product better without making it more difficult to use in the process.

    Don't force us to use the email format Xero has set up with new invoicing.. We need to be able to edit the format for items such as:
    - Not having the dollar amount in HUGE numbers (This appears to be screaming "YOU OWE US MONEY".
    - Not displaying the currency AUD (We only have customers in Australia. We don't want to imply that our customers don't know what currency they should pay in.)

    Hi community, I’d like to share the new Xero Central page for new invoicing that we noted was coming. 

    Along with updates to individual ideas on the site here, this page will become the one source for key feature rollouts including:

    • what’s available in new invoicing right now,
    • timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
    • a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.

    We'll be updating this page regularly.

    Remember, you can keep switching between the two products between now and September. Thanks

    Stop "fixing" thing that aren't broken and start fixing things your users have been requesting for years.
