Petition for Xero Executives Regarding Alleged "Improvements"
Petition for Xero Executives Regarding Alleged "Improvements"
I encourage Xero Subscribers and other customers to start commenting and upvoting so we can show the Executives that these "improvements" are NOT improvements!
So, if you have had problems with any of the alleged improvements, some I have listed below, they include any sub issues associated with the changes.
Please add only "I agree" in comments. This will help our overall numbers into a louder and bigger voice.
- New Bills View
- New Contacts View
- New Invoice View
- Retiring of classic invoice layout
- Xero Support Staff Gaslighting you
Unfortunately, there are so many ideas and comments that I cant list them all, but there is slightly different wording and multiple threads, that Xero staff either close or merge, and muddy the issue actually diluting the bigger problem, that customers are not being consulted, nor are we being heard.
Stop treating us like "users" - we are your customers.
Hi community, I’d like to share the new Xero Central page for new invoicing that we noted was coming.
Along with updates to individual ideas on the site here, this page will become the one source for key feature rollouts including:
- what’s available in new invoicing right now,
- timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
- a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.
We'll be updating this page regularly.
Remember, you can keep switching between the two products between now and September. Thanks

If 3 out of every 10 people told me my product wasn't good I'd be horrified. I certainly wouldn't be patting myself on the back for a job well done.

I agree!!
Blog from Chief Product & Technology Officer released this morning states, "Today, 90% of Xero customers have switched to new invoicing. Our data shows that these users have a strong customer satisfaction of 70%". What??? How can that be?? I'm only begrudgingly using new invoicing to try to get used to it (and failing miserably - I still hate it). I didn't realise that using the new invoicing would be me actually contributing to these unbelievable stats, making it look better than it actually is. I think, because of this, I will now revert back to classic invoicing every morning, right up till the 20th November.

I realised the other day that we lost the ability to add multiple extra lines to an invoice. it's replaced with Xero automatically adding 1 line when you're working in the last one before it...
REALLY annoying, because I sometimes need to drag multiple empty lines up in between other lines and having to put a character in the new line just to be able to generate another line...
Give me back the option to add multiple blank lines, please... -

I agree with pretty much everything from all the previous comments! The new invoicing is terrible and NOT an iprovement at all - where are all these "test" subscribers who found it better Xero??

The new invoicing is terrible. Selecting a date such as yesterday is now ridiculously hard.

I agree - Invoicing is TERRIBLE

Why has “Add last items” disappeared? Please reinstate in new invoicing. I use this feature all the time and revert to classic invoicing so I can still use it.
