“User Name” Placeholder to Email Templates
In our company, we like to ensure that invoices emailed to customers are personally signed by the person who sends them, rather than a generic “Kind regards, Company Name.”
At the moment, this requires manually typing the sender’s name every time we email an invoice, which is inefficient and prone to inconsistency.
It would be very helpful to have the option to include a placeholder for the logged-in user’s name within the invoice email templates.
Just as we can currently insert placeholders for customer details (e.g. customer name, invoice number, amount), we should be able to include something like [User Name] or [Logged-in User] in the email signature.
This would automatically pull the name of the user who is logged in and sending the invoice, creating a more personal and accurate sign-off, for example:
Kind regards,
[User Name]
This feature would be especially valuable for businesses with multiple staff members sending invoices under the same company account, improving professionalism and consistency.
Thanks,
Joana
