  1. I have a growing body of CIS subcontractors who would like to use products and services to save time when raising sales invoices to regular construction customers. Unfortunately, you cannot select CIS labour income when setting up a product and service. If you could it would automate so much of their sales invoices.

  3. Change Expense Claimant in Expense Claims.
    I have a delegate who adds most all of my expenses using XeroMe.

    They are not an employee rather a bookeeper at the accountant. At present using XeroMe all expeneses are created in their name and in Xero, it states them as an Employee and after saving or submitting you cannot change whom it is for.

    In Xero on a laptop, you can change who a claim is for, why is this greyed out in XeroMe?
    It should be the same.

  4. For now there's a option to block issuing invoice for customer which exceed a certain credit limit. Can we have more options to block a customer, like overdue invoices etc.?

    Appreciate there are more settings that you'd like to expand the use of the Credit Limit for, Joyce. 

    In lieu of change in the direct feature atm, one way to prevent further invoices from being raised for a contact could be to set their limit to the amount of the invoice due which would stop all future invoices for the contact being raised.

  5. Draft sales invoice. I would be helpful that when entering a sales invoice for a customer if Xero could advise/warn you that there is already a "Draft" invoice in the system.
    I add to draft invoices each week, and sometimes a draft that is already in existence gets missed.

  6. When bulk importing invoices, I want everything to have the same item code and description.

    BUT when they import, the item description does not pull through.

    And the item code needs reclicking to make it pull through.

    Therefore, you have to go into every invoice individually.

    It should be updated so that when you import invoices, everything pulls through correctly.

  7. I would like to be able to see Check numbers in the list of invoices owed. that way when I view a client and their activity ... the invoice shows paid ... I would be able to see the check number they paid with. The reason is sometimes a client sends a check and does not indicate what invoice to apply it to. I normally apply it to the oldest invoice or the month they sent the payment. When they say I paid Feb with chk number 1234, I can look and see what invoice I applied it too and…

  8. It would be good to be able to filter the Business Snapshot by tracking category and show only income/expenses for each Tracking Category on the dashboard e.g by Department/Region/Product etc.

  9. When a statement is sent to customers it would be great if there was a tick or "sent" next to the customer details in the statements section. At the moment i tick the "send me a copy" box. But i am always having to go back to my emails to check or manually writing down who has been sent statements.

  10. When you enter a bill and save it as a draft or approve a bill up the top it gives you the option to enter a new bill but it doesn't give you the option to enter a credit note. Because I can click add a new bill I enter all my invoices first but if Xero gave me the option to enter a credit note I would use this very much. Right now I have 14 supplier credit notes to enter and that is not unusual and it is very time consuming having to go back to the bill…

  14. In Projects, when you are assigning an expense to an estimated expense, you have to press tab twice to begin entering the name of the estimated expense you want to assign it to. When the pop-up appears, you should be immediately able to start entering the information that is the only thing you can do in that pop-up.

  15. Not a major one but I feel the whole online site needs a facelift.
    Information is not given in an easy to process way and this can make navigating the program more complicated than it seems to be.

    I recently transferred over from MYOB and where I feel the general program of Xero is better for ease of reconciling etc. some tasks can feel super overcomplicated and difficult to carry out due to poor layout and outdated visuals.   17. Add a 'Projects' column to Bills rather than having to click 'Assign expenses to customer or project'.

    As a company who have many projects that are a similar (or the same) name as a customer's company name, the current process results in expenses being assigned to a customer and not the project!

    A 'Project' column has been added in the new invoice template so PLEASE add one to the Bills as well!!

  18. Product - Streamline creating new variants of one product. It's common to have one product with lots of variants (size, colour, etc). They have different SKUs and description but the same cost price, sale price, accounting codes, tax treatment, inventory tracking. I should be able to create many products on one screen. I know I can do this by importing an excel file that I've created but should be able to do it within Xero.

  20. We noticed some forms use Edit vs. Revise, and Save vs. Update, and other different wording for the same outcome. It might be helpful to standardize the wording in the Options menu across the forms. A standardized options menu for the common options to save, edit, print, send, delete, etc, might help users learn the program faster and increase efficiency of use, overall. It would for us. What are your thoughts?
