  1. You can add formula columns and rows to a report, but from what I can tell, the column formula always takes precedent over the row. It would be cool if you choose if you want the row formula to calculate in the column formula column

  3. Ability to add KPIs to executive summary report e.g. Purchases/Sales percentage for the hospo industry and wages/sales % - these should be at 30% or lower so it would be great to add these into the executive summary report

  4. When selecting different accounts from the dropdown list in reports, the accounts that have been selected are not easy to locate without scrolling through the list (which sometimes can be a large number).

    It would be helpful to have the accounts that already been ticked at the top of the list, so that they can easily be unticked if need be.

  5. In the account transactions report, the reference for batch deposits (of invoices) should be the payment reference.

    Currently, the individual invoice numbers are presented for batch deposits when you run account transactions.

Please please can you sort your system so that when we are bulk importing our annual jobs that it is possible to import the budget also - I have asked for this for many years but to date nothing has changed. I hope that now that you have finally updated the system, after several years of empty promises, perhaps this is now a possiblity. It is far too time consuming to enter the budget manually with over 1000 jobs and would speed up our invoicing if the budget field was imported instead of having to look elsewhere for the fee.…

  7. I would like to see the limitation of receiving payment on 50 inovices be increased or removed completely. I Have a trucking company that issues hundreds of trip invoices to it's customers and the limit of receiving payment on 50 invoices at a time doesnt work for them.

Would it be possible to up date the CIS feature to have the reports that are filed through Xero to HMRC be automatically saved into the filed with HMRC section so that you can see the original return that was submitted if you have had to update it. Returns are not saved on HMRC if they are submitted through Xero.

  12. We have a lot of personal expenses (reimburseable) and no company expenses within our business - when employees input their expenses it defaults to company money.

    Occasionally these slip through the net and aren't changed prior to approval.

    Can we switch off 'company money' in expenses - or can we set 'personal spend' to be the default option?

  15. The previous Profit & Loss report allowed you to filter by multiple categories. There was an add t report function which allowed users to drill down into secondary categories and export ALL of the data into one report which showed 1. A P&L Summary, 2. Detailed expenditure for the chosen secondary category. The "Add to report" function allowed the user to export the entire category details as a whole.

    For our business this is critical. We are a bespoke project based company and use this filter constantly & No the project feature does not work for our business....I have tried!

  16. Change to New Trial Balance

    If the trial balance is set to cash rather than accruals I can no longer see the depreciation and accumulated depreciation accounts. This is a pain for clients who report on a cash basis but still have depreciation. These accounts should appear on cash or accruals as this does not effect whether it is claimed in the tax return.

  17. Currently eInvoicing attaches the user's email address to an eInvoice. So that we can centralise how we track our invoicing, we would like to change this to our generic email address xyz@entity rather than name@entity. It would be great if there was a drop down button added to eInvoicing to make this change.

  18. We have imported the Fixed Asset with wrong depreciation rate into XERO FAR side.
    Due to this we are depreciating some of our assets with wrong depreciation charges for last 3 financial years.
    Does anyone know in that platform how can we correct that for previous period?
    This include financial year from 2020 - 2023. All ideas and suggestions are appreciated.

  19. We would like to indicate a specific percentage of retention money held by our client on our sales invoices to them. This retention is then payable to us after a specific amount of months.

    Hi community, in lieu of having a direct feature for this I wanted to highlight the option shared earlier on in this thread (Thanks Peter!) for those it may help.

    As mentioned, currently you could enter a separate line on the invoice, with a negative amount for the retention value, and code this to a 'customer retentions' account in the Balance Sheet. You could also add a comment in the Description field, indicating the cumulative retention value.

    The Account Transactions Report can then be used to manage the values being carried forward. 

    Being open, this isn't something we have planned for development at this time, however we'll continue to gather the interest here, and if there's any changes we'll let you know. 

  20. when pulling Payoneer transactions to reconcile, pull also the transaction ID, not just the payee,date, amount etc. seems rather basic, but it's very much needed.
