  1. At the moment Xero doesn't auto calculate the depreciation rate from the effective life. This means when we run the depreciation report the rate column shows up as blank if we've entered the effective life into the asset register rather than the rate. We should be able to enter the effective life and Xero auto calculates the depreciation rate for the depreciation report.

  2. Limited Projects Users should be able to print a timesheet. Those who are subcontractors require their own records, and this saves duplication. Clients often require timesheets to be signed, and the person who entered the time is usually the best person to arrange this, however they cannot do so unless they can print their own timesheet.

  4. For most of my clients, I have to apply hundreds of individual payments to pay off monthly sales invoice. This is very time consuming process. I would prefer to have an option similar to existing Cash Coding feature but applicable to Invoice instead of chart of account. This way I would be able to select multiple bank transactions, apply tax rate and reconcile to single Sales Invoice at once.

  5. It would be useful to create truly custom reports than allow for balance sheet and income statement reporting. For example a year-to-date income statement can be structured differently to fit custom reporting needs, but it's not possible to include balance sheet balances or net activity on the same page.

  6. Please remove invoice links from Statements, this is causing us huge problems or at least give an option to remove.
    We are requesting like many others that Xero remove invoice links from statements, as they are causing significant issues.
    Our company uses a Project Management system to issue invoices which is integrated with Xero, and we need control over the information provided to customers.

My Idea: Somewhere to enter a prepaid annual or longterm expense (ie Insurance) that can first go into a Prepaid Expenses asset account and then set to either expense at regular intervals until "used up" or able to manually expense as periods come to a close. This manager would help keep track of all prepaid expenses in one place and would keep a running balance for each item. Viewing options would include being able to filter/sort by item (ie 2023 Insurance Premium), or by type (ie software subscriptions) or by expense account (ie Insurance Expense).

  11. For some reason "standard users" cannot see Manual Journals in the accounting menu.

    Please allow standard users to access Manual Journals from the Accounting menu rather than having to go to reports. Its just a time waster.

  12. Can we please have a few new GL Account categories so that the P&L can be printed in the standard format to show EBITDA, EBIT, Profit before Tax and Profit after Tax.
    Should be a fairly simple addition to the available categories, to add Interest, Depreciation and Tax as categories would enable this.
    This could also help with the enhancement of the Cashflow Reports.

  13. Please allow the ability to add individual project P&L information to the web and mobile dashboard.

    We have project managers who look after specific projects that need to be tracked monthly/quarterly. The ability to save specific project information onto the dashboard would allow PM's to view this information at a quick glance

    I'm not talking about adding a favourite P&L report which has to be accessed via the drop down menu, I'm talking about being able to view multiple projects on the dashboard. I think expanding into project management would be helpful (without having the Projects tab)

  14. If a Xero client has a credit card that is cancelled due to scam or new card etc, the only option is to create a new bank feed for the card so you can continue to get the data. In this instance, you end up with two bank accounts on your Xero file, both with a balance. At the moment, you can only do a transfer to move 1 balance to the other, than archive the one not needed. It would be nice to be able to merge the two together so that the balance works and the transactions stay…

  15. Remove the AMEX Logo on the payment screen (not the PDF invoice screen)
    You have the option within the settings to remove the AMEX logo from the PDF invoice view screen if you don't offer payments via AMEX through stripe, but when the customer clicks the payment link within the invoice and gets taken to the following screen to fill in their card details and pay the invoice, the AMEX Logo is then displayed here (even though we don't accept it and chose to remove it from the previous screen)
    Stripe say its a Xero issue and Xero say not…

  16. Hi,

    I would like to suggest a small but valuable improvement to the Projects section in Xero. Currently, in the "Quotes & Invoices" tab within a project, only the invoice number is displayed, which is useful for tracking. However, for many businesses, including ours, it would be incredibly helpful if both the invoice number and the reference field could be shown simultaneously in the project’s invoice summary view.

    This improvement would enhance visibility and make it easier to track project-specific details without losing sight of important invoice numbers.

  17. In most areas of xero you can enter dates in any format, however, in the 'new fixed assets' this errors unless its in the one format Xero accepts.

    Please make the date fields similar to the other fields in Xero, allowing any format e.g. 1/1/24, 1.1.24, 1-1-24, 1 1 24, etc

Under classic invoicing I can share invoices across the Xero network between Xero entities from different countries (in my case, Australian company invoicing a USA company) Why can't this feature be available under the new invoice format (I don't see what eInvoicing actually has to do with it)

    First time I've seen Xero take a major step backwards (I now have to spend more time doing the same job... well done folks)
