  1. As part of our QA, we review the list of users to check that it is up to date, eg, remove terminated employees, remove auditors at the completion of the audit or revert to Read Only, etc.

    It would be great to be able to filter/sort the view by access type, such as looking only at Payroll Employees, or filtering them out.

  2. I think it would be great to have a screen to manage notifications settings.
    This could present a long list of notifications for different things (e.g. for me the important ones are activity statement due soon, STP filing overdue).
    For each item, the user could select if they want it active, how they want to be notified (e.g. header line, or in a widget), and whether to be emailed (very helpful for people like me who only log in once or twice a week and do a days work).

  3. Being able to access supplier invoices using the link in the email. Currently we can only access the invoice related to the email. When trying to view other outstanding invoices, I get the message that I don't have permission to view that page and to have my access upgraded even though I have full access (bar subscriber). It would be great to be able to, as a bookkeeper, access other outstanding invoices. A lot of clients will use the link, see that they can access the other invoices, and not see an issue.

  5. Link to Invoices on Custom Statements

    Xero recently added a link to Invoices on the Standard Statement. Thank you! However, this is only helpful if you're using the Standard statement. We would like to be able to add the Invoice link on Custom statements as well.

  6. We need the ability to further customise User Permissions. For example, a company could have 3 bank accounts and one credit card, all of which need reconciling, but I want two employees to share responsibility. So, employee A can do two bank accounts, and Employee B can do 1 bank account, and one credit card, and each can only see what they are responsible for. Secondly, we should be able to set up a Finance Manager who has certain permissions again separate from all other options. For example we may have a Purchasing Officer with authority to purchase goods/services up…

  7. It would be nice to be able to give access to the History and Notes to Standard users. Right now it's only visible for Advisors while I believe this is a feature that could be useful to Standard users as well.

  8. Hi, It would be great to see customers who exceeded their credit limits on the dashboard. We push sales invoices from third-party app therefore we don't see alerts if someone has no credit limit left. If we could see a list on the dashboard we could act immediately. Thanks

  9. Please add the ability to switch off the suggested reconciliation entries for individual users or for all users if easier. It is a setting that shows an OK button that looks a lot like the OK for rules and other matches, and it makes users trigger happy with the OK, which leads to reconciliation account coding errors.

  10. We wish to let some of our users have access to purchase orders, raising & viewing etc.

    Currently if we give them access to purchase orders it also lets them see supplier balances and also click into the supplier and therefore into the accounts i.e invoices etc.

    We would like our staff to just see the purchase orders and raise purchase orders but not have access to anything else.

    Hi Candice, timestamps in your org are set by the timezone set in the organisation's financial settings. From your idea here, would you want to be setting this manually or based off another setting somewhere?

  13. Move "jax" and the new "Apps" icons into the Company Drop Down on the right hand side so they don't clutter our tool bar and you can go in there and chose to activate them or not.
    Give us some choice please - I'm not loving having the search icon so far over now, as it has to make space for these 2, which I will not be using.
    p.s. I did sign up for the Beta of jax and the first answer was wrong...

    We don't have any plans for changing the placement of the JAX icon atm, but it'll be good to get a sense from the community that also feel this way, here. We're keeping a close eye on feedback, and I'll let you know if there's any news to share with you here.

  15. Please make audible alerts to "messages", tips, etc optional.
    I wear earphones and work across multiple devices and it is quite irritating to hear "bloop" when working across multiple tabs.

  16. completing a cert IV in accounting and bookkeeping you have to become a user for approximately 10 different companies. Therefore once you have finished your course they sit in your My Xero, the only way to remove yourself as a user it to do each one, can you have an option to remove yourself as a user for multiple companies in one step.

  18. It would be helpful to be able to add shortcut icons on the dashboard for all of the things you use every day instead of having to go through the dropdown menus. (similar to the way the old quickbooks used).

    For example, have a way to put an "invoice" icon on the dashboard. Or add "spend money" on the dashboard. Basically have a way to add whatever shortcut icons you want as every business is different.

    Hi community - There are a few shortcuts that can help you get around and create transactions from many screens in Xero.

    The '+' icon next to Search in the blue banner enables you to create a range of different document types, similarly there are shortcuts that can be entered in Search from the blue navigation bar that will take you to different features for example entering 'r' you can quickly select and be taken to 'All reports'

    Are there other specific shortcuts you'd want to see here? 

  19. Xero Inventory Plus should be an option, similar to Expenses and Projects, for any/all users regardless of roles. I need everyone on my team to see where our inventory stands.

  20. For the 'approve and pay' user the remittance function is limited. They should have the functionality to send remittances on a batch payment and also be able to access the remittance button at a later date. An admin member of staff needs access to the full remittance capability in order to complete their duties fully.
