  1. UK doesn't currently have the remuneration report. This is a basic fundamental requirement on payroll.

  2. At the moment Xero only produce standard 18 format files for paying employees electronically. There is very minimal banks that accept this kind of format. I I think it would be of great use if we could upload a template file to Xero of the format our bank accepts and it then produces this type of file for us.

  3. I have one employee that is paid the same amount every week, it would be great if I could set the pay run to post and file itself every week until further notice. I have an automatic bank payment set up so this would make it so easy - and more importantly it doesn't rely on me remembering.

    Hi community, while we appreciate you sharing this idea with us here, and understand the interest for being able to automate pay runs, we want to confirm this is not in our plans at present.

  4. I have different managers responsible for different employee timesheets so therefore I would really like the ability to authorise specific managers to employees. Am still using mostly paper timesheets because of the massive deficiencies in the XeroMe ones (think is one of the many reasons).
    I don't think its appropriate that anyone authorised can access all timesheets as it does nothing but create confusion and the potential to authorise the wrong ones. Also unnecessarily time consuming.

    Is it possible to please add some tickboxes/controls to remove this hurdle?

  5. I'd like the ability to delete a super fund from an Employee's Employment tab where they originally had two super funds operating in parallel, and then closed one of their accounts. Currently the obsolete super fund can not be deleted, and can only be updated, which means you end up with two of the same super funds in the employment tab.

  6. When using the Leave Paid out on Termination feature in xero, the paid out leave is recorded in the Holiday Leave Accrual category. This means we are unable to run a report showing the value of unused entitlements paid out on Termination. This is important information for Workcover Reconciliations etc. Please set up a report for Unused Leave Paid out on Termination.

  7. Could the user have access to the calendar in payroll to allow them to manually input other dates that are important but not automatically fed into the calendar and also set up reminder alerts?

    Sage allowed you to this which was really useful if you had to remove/add a benefit on a certain date.

  9. When a client fails to pay Superannuation Guarantee levy on time the employer should lodge a Super Guarantee charge form. Is it possible to develop a form where the affected employees can be printed & exported to excel to enable a simple "cut & paste"? If the ATO have started an investigation this can save many hours of work especially if the period covered is several years.

  11. The ability for an employee to be able to enter the number of kilometres travelled each day. This number being able to filter through to the pay run so the employer can pay an allowance of cents per kilometre.

  14. Timesheet - Earnings Rate viewing space needs increasing
    Why is the space so small to view the earing rate selected, most earning rates are much longer than the space provided, which is creating issues to clarify if the rate selected is correct. And creating additional time required to check the correct rate has been entered or pulled through from scheduling software.
    Please widen this space, there is plenty of room as there is excess room in the Tracking area or the page actually widened.

  15. STP2 Allowances. Not reportable at W1 should push that information through with STP, but it doesn't. Using reimbursements as a work around is not good enough - better syncing is needed.

  16. For permanent employees, all XERO business customers should be able to calculate their future leave balances. This will allow a business owner to know if they can approve the leave or not, or what conversation to have with a team member.

    I hope this idea is backed and implemented.

  17. We have several earnings rates Eg. Normal Time, Saturday, Sunday, etc and for each earnings type, there are several rates. We have these set up in Xero and they display in Alphabetical order under 'Pay Items'.

    However, when staff are completing their timesheets in Xero Me, all of the earnings rates are out of order (in fact they are in no particular order!) which makes it very hard for employees to complete their timesheets correctly. We have over 45 staff and approximately 30 earnings rates, therefore having them in random order in Xero Me causes many timesheet errors.

  18. UK Payroll - need a P32 report that can be printed/downloaded month by month in addition to the details provided for the whole year. Other payroll software's provide this as it's handy to have.

  20. When you invite an employee to xero me for the purpose of submitting their timesheet, there is a drop down menu for the payrate. In this drop down, it shows 'Self' payrate (the payrate of the person submitting the time sheet) and also 'Team' payrate, a list of all the different payrates of the company. Why would you want an employee to be able to see the different payrates of the team?

    This seems like a flaw in the system to me and an employee should only be able to see the payrate that applies to them.
