AU Payroll - Report for Unused Leave Paid out on Termination
When using the Leave Paid out on Termination feature in xero, the paid out leave is recorded in the Holiday Leave Accrual category. This means we are unable to run a report showing the value of unused entitlements paid out on Termination. This is important information for Workcover Reconciliations etc. Please set up a report for Unused Leave Paid out on Termination.

Come on Xero this has been a feature request for years and still now recognition that its worthy. Its a basic requirement for all employer businesses to be able to identify the value of unused leave paid out, so surely that should give Xero an indication of the sheer volume of users that are affected.

All on this thread, if you run the STP report, Type U gives you the unused annual Leave payout figure.

Agree, very very frustrating going back and forth trying to work out the unused leave. Please separate from Annual Leave

This is really important for Payroll tax returns - at the moment I have reasonably small payroll and can do manually but this increases likelihood of mistakes and is a crazy waste of time - I can get the hours - Leave transactions - Filter using search "Final Pay" but this only gives me hours not $.

Xero are you even listening to this request. It has been a frustation since we started using Xero 2 years ago. I need this for monthly payroll tax calculations and now as I prepare to finalised Income statements

I can't believe we are still waiting for some way to easily identify the amounts paid on termination. Can this please be reviewed. This amount is required for Workcover calculations, payroll tax calculations and also to identify is correct super has been paid (leave on term is exempt from super). Currently a manual process that takes more time then it needs. I have run the Leave transactions report that gives me the hours but no way to get the $ value. Even just add $ column to that report would be a stop gap solution.

This is even needed for Superannuation reconciliations. The payroll reports provided are extremely and really don't meet many compliance needs.

Can you tell it's payroll tax return time!! Searching again to see if Xero offers this reporting options and it doesn't.
I don't understand why some reporting functions that are actually critical are not included.

Can we please get this report added as a priority.
I need it for
- Payroll Tax - We need to exclude termination payments (WA), resulting in less tax payable for clients. If it is tricky to find this information, our clients could end up paying more than is necessary.
- Workers Compensation - same reason as above.
- Reporting - Example. Our hospitality client wants termination payments excluded from their cost figures. -
