Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this idea. We appreciate you sharing how important STP reporting is.

The existing solution is to view the STP finalisation screen, as this information is included in the employee's STP summary.

Something to note is that leave paid out on termination has several reporting types depending on the termination reason and leave type (i.e. Type U, Lump Sum A, etc).

If you use the STP finalisation reports, you may like to view this in conjunction with the ATO’s guide: STP Phase 2 Reporting - Quick reference guide.

Creating a new report for unused leave paid out on termination isn’t currently on our product team’s road map, so we've updated this idea to Not in Pipeline. The idea remains open for votes though so we can continue to monitor interest.

Can you tell it's payroll tax return time!! Searching again to see if Xero offers this reporting options and it doesn't.

I don't understand why some reporting functions that are actually critical are not included.

    Agree.

Currently our timesheets are imported from our rostering system, and hours worked are all allocated as per their location in the roster. However super is not, so each pay period this needs to be adjusted manually.

It 10 locations and over 100 staff, this is never going to be accurate and it's only done on a pro rate basis rather than by team member. to have it come across somehow in timesheets or calculated it in the back ground based on timesheets would save so much time.

Yes this is critical to our business also, with 10 different locations, full time and part time staff trying to allocate unallocated wages is very time confusing.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important it is for your business to have monthly salaried employees complete timesheets for tracking and reporting purposes, without impacting pay run calculations.

Some of you have found workarounds like approving timesheets after processing pay runs, although this may create challenges down the line.

Our product team is currently undertaking a wider review of timesheets, and this idea will be included in that process. Therefore we're updating this idea to Accepted. We'll keep you updated if there are any developments on this.

I'm not sure how this isn't an option yet for salaried staff to submit their worked hours on a timesheet and then have the payroll function to choose to 'pay as' timesheet hours or contracted hours. It is now a requirement to keep track of these hours and for many of us that means manual work.
