Fixed assets - View totals for purchase price and depreciation when importing
When fixed assets are imported or even just entered and they are first draft assets, this screen should total the purchase price and accumulated depreciation (in case of migrating from existing ledger) for a quick check before 'registering'. I don't understand what the point of making draft first and then having to register when a registered asset can be changed anyway. But if this screen totalled the $'s - this would be a more efficient check against source documents than currently one by one. 11 votesHi everyone, returning to the idea here. For UK Payroll, pension fillings can be exported in CSV format and manually updated to be compatible with the different pension providers. We don't have plans for creating other specific file formats in the near term.

Customer Statements - Ability to choose invoices
Send Statements, Outstanding, Select Date.
We want to send statements to our clients for invoices that are 30 days overdue - so if I put in the 28th February 2022, Xero brings up a list of all overdue invoices as at that date however some of those invoices have been paid so if I send out the 'Activity Statement' its not a true record of the invoices outstanding.
I would like Xero to change this so that you can either click on each invoice you want to send out ie the ones that haven't been paid or Xero only shows…

Find and Recode - Ability to cerate a report of condition results (prior to recode)
I want to send the client a report of items to be recoded before they are recoded, just to check that they can be recoded before I do the adjustments.

Email Templates - Consistency in placeholders with invoice templates (e.g Expiry date)
I have just spend over an hour trying to add the 'Expiry Date' to my Quote emails.
I attempted so many ways of adding [Expiry date] as is written on the quote in Xero; however, it just wouldn't work. I found other suggestions that did not work, until FINALLY I found that you have to add this field in your email template as [Expiry].
Now... when all of the other fields are listed in the template, exactly as they show up in Xero; why would you not have the Expiry date the same????

Files - Ability to send documents to cloud storage from Xero Files
Ability to push files that’s uploaded in Xero Files to cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, and Sharepoint).
Purpose: Users can easily store/keep their files that they’ve uploaded in Xero into their own cloud storage. Especially when they have many documents that exceed the limit of Xero Files.

NZ Payroll - Flag leave submitted retrospectively
It would be great if Xero could send an alert if a leave request has been submitted for a payroll period that has already been processed?
This would apply in the situation that payroll was run early and then an employee took a day off in the period that was included in the payrun.3 votes -

Ability to select your own landing page after login.
Am I the only person who finds it annoying to have to navigate from the dashboard, to business, invoices, then to the awaiting payments tab every time I log in?
I would love to able to choose which page I see when logging in.

Xero Accounting app | BAS/ITR - Ability to e-sign through mobile/accounting app
How about e-signing BAS'/ITR via the Phone App, at the moment we send out these docs from Practice Manager for esigning via another login but if it could be sent to the app, it would assist small business people who could approve and sign these docs more easily

UK Payroll - Include student loan calculation on summary reports
Student Loan Tax Calculation
Xero tax sets out the calculation of Income tax and NIC very well.Unfortunately, the system is obscure in relation to displaying the calculation for Student Loan Tax which is important for an increasing number of young people coming into financial maturity.
We need to provide adequate assurance both to them and the increasingly aggressing Student Loan Company to avoid penalties and unexpected bills.
I request that Xero includes a breakdown of the calculation on the Summary computation report.

Contacts - Pull client's contact detail from WhatsApp
From within your contact details or Quote or Invoice - why not have the functionality to communicate to a client via WhatsApp or send the Quote or Invoice via WhatsApp. If you are in the construction industry, acknowledging that not everyone is in construction, the craftsmen you work with only gets to Mail and acceptance of quotes in the evenings. WhatsApp's they respond to easily and quickly ....

Invoice - Contact bank account details field on invoice
The contacts screen has the financial details Bank account i.e Bank account name, BSB code e.g. 123-456, Bank account number e.g. 1234567890.
However these are not fields on the invoice.
Xero help out and create these fields on the invoice.

Reporting - Export default settings
To be able to set a default to display the actual figures to decimal places as opposed to the current display which rounds up values when exporting bank statements to .pdf document or excel documents

A client needs a further option on a bill. Equipment Hire / Plant Hire can be in hours/days/weeks

AU Payroll - Display tax rate on payslip
Add the tax rate % on payslips.
