Practice Manager - Ability to archive deregistered clients in group profiles
We have an abundance of deregistered clients/entities in our client list. We would like the option of archiving these clients, but if they are still linked through the group, then they still show up under the group profile - but maybe in a separate section, so the group profile could list current clients and archived clients.
Ideally, we want to archive them because they aren't an existing client anymore, however, we would still like them to be visible/searchable with the client data, so we can see their historical entities and for other reasons.

Job WIP Balances Report - Criteria Search
I would like to be able to have a selection of criteria for the standard Job WIP Balances Report that allows me to produce that report by certain fields in the report ie Name, State. Also by adding the following criteria would also save me a lot of time exporting and trying to sort by:

Like the Tax reminders for provisional and student loan but for GST and maybe even PAYE, so if you create and file the GST return though Practice Manger it feeds back info on what is outstanding and what has been paid with the option of sending reminders out to clients on payments due about a week out from the final date.10 votes -
Practice Manager - Ability to archive Client Groups
Currently we are only able delete Client Groups in XPM. That means there are 'inactive' groups when the clients move on making it harder to see how many Groups you are actually working with.
It would be great to be able to Archive instead. This would keep the Group Count 'clean' and you can still report on Groups

Invoice Branding - Contact defaults to apply when invoice pushed from XPM to Xero
Ability to set the client branding theme in XPM to push across to Xero. This comes from the branding theme set at the client level not working as the firms default branding theme currently is applied to all invoices. By default it should use the branding theme against the clients contact record in Xero as we have set this up but not working as per bottom comment on this help article here: https://central.xero.com/s/article/Set-default-invoice-quote-templates

XPM - Option to Publish a report dashboard for clients
I would love to build out a customizable reporting dashboard for each client, that I could grant specific access to. It could include specific monthly reports, live reports (like a rolling 12 month p&l for example) or widgets with live reports (for AP and AR) like on the current Xero dashboard. Perhaps include some KPI calculations. As an accountant, I could prepare the dashboard for each client's needs, and then email them a link to the dashboard each month when the accounting is updated.

Practice Manager - "All" tab on tax payments screen
It would be useful if the Tax Payments screen in Xero Practice Manager had an "all" tab, where you could see all tax payments due (for a certain date). This is useful if you don't know what stage a certain letter is at.

Practice Manager: Job Costs - Ability to move to another job
It would be great to be able to move job costs to another job in a similar way that you can move time sheets. More often than not costs are captured on an incorrect job and it is a "pain" to delete this and then to re-capture on the correct job.

Practice Manager | Xero integration - Identify job number within invoices
When pulling invoices through from Xero to XPM (i.e. to report on fees v.s. costs/budget), it would be much more beneficial if XPM could locate its Job Reference Number within the line item description of an invoice, rather than just the invoice reference field.
This would mean multiple XPM jobs could be referenced on the same invoice (e.g. 001 Payroll, 002 Accounts, 003 Bookkeeping), as well as mitigating for firms like ours where we also bill other non-relevant monthly services (e.g. HR, Legal services etc.) on the same monthly invoice to a client.

It would be great to have the option for a recurring job to open upon the previous recurring job closing. The current options for when recurring jobs open are very limited.

Wanting to create a report that enables us to view the notes added to the Client Verification section. Currently it looks like you can only build reports with the Date Verified, Verified by and Verified fields. Would be good to be able to also view the notes. Particularly for non-individual clients who also need to have the relevant individuals also verified which does not always happen at the same time.

Practice Manager - Warning message when timesheet entries overlap
It would be great to get a prompt or warning message that will appear when adding overlapping timesheet entries in XPM. Currently an 8hr day and end up more if time has been entered in twice....

XPM User Permission - Ability to only remove timesheet view permission
I would like to place feedback around user settings, The user permissions are limiting and weird ones seem to go together. Currently all staff can see everyone's timesheets, we we're advised to remove the financial setting under financial privilege's to remove staff access to timesheets, in doing so staff could no longer see budgets on jobs, therefore we had to give all users back that permission, in effect allowing all staff access to everyone's timesheets it just doesn't make sense.

Document packs that are cancelled, send a notification to clients. it would be good to be able to cancel the document pack and have the option of whether or not to notify the client.

Practice Manager | Clients - Ability to set separate contact information from linked Contact
Thanks to the team for releasing the ability to link one contact to multiple clients! While appreciated, it falls a tad short since only the "Position" is set per client. If possible, it would be great if the Salutation, Addressee, Phone, Mobile, Email Address, and Custom Fields, could also be set on a per client basis. This would allow for flexibility where the one contact has different contact details per client.
One example is a bookkeeper that works for 5 clients of ours. For two of those clients, they use hey@awesomebookkeeping.com. For the other three, they use accounts@client1.com,…

Practice Manager | Client - Copy a client (including all contacts)
To be able to duplicate a contact, therefore not having to retype in the address, phone number and all other details. You would just need to rename the client and change the IRD number etc before saving. This would be a huge time saver.

Job Manager - Create a 'To do' list of recurring tasks
Create "to do" lists in tasks, and allowing them to become a template - this would make it so much easier when creating jobs - gives staff a tick off for each task if required.
Would be so much easier than currently doing it through a Job Level and having to create tasks with "To Do' lists individually.

Ability to report on New & Archived/Terminated Clients with dates they were added/archived. Helpful for Practice Reporting & assessing promotion results etc.

Practice manager | Xero Sign - Report on date sent
Ability to be able to report on the date sent for Xerosign returns. The date sent is recorded but you can't report on it. This would make follow ups a lot easier to be able to see when each out to sign return was sent for e-signing.
