  2. We need a report that is cash basis and can have number of items sold during a time period. This report also needs revenue totals and allow a tracking category. Essentially this is to produce a report to determine Royalties that are due on some products that are sold.

  3. Ability to allocate disbursements against a client - rather than a job.

    Where small costs (postage/courier, ASIC fees, software fees) are paid on behalf of a client, we shouldn't have to set-up a job just for these minor items - which will then sit as an open job for months until we bill the client next.

  4. AU Tax - print return with option to exlude table items from worksheets

    Update from Xero function in Xero Tax imports all ledger items into the worksheets in the financial disclosure section which looks untidy and provides too much information when presenting to the client. A good option would be if we could summarise these items in the worksheets, which would be far more presentable.

  5. Is it possible to get the total of the VAT due/refund on the VAT report in Xero for a period. Currently one have to do a calculation to see the VAT due/refund. Or have to generate the VAT201 report to see the amount due.
    Ideal one would like to see the VAT due outomatically calculated as well as die balance of the VAT control account on one report. See attachement for an example.

  6. Adding a disclaimer & changing the substantiation declaration on the tax returns - our old system used to have this that the client could sign which we would like to make adjustments to but we have to manually add this on to tax returns in Xero tax.

  7. General Pool Depreciation - Using the General Pool feature does not list the assets that have been pooled. It is useful to be able to review assets owned by an entity and the details of the purchase.

    Atm, we don't have direct plans for developing this, however we'll continue to track interest here, so keep adding your support.

  11. Will there be something developed (in the works) on sharing the mapping report with clients, so they know which codes are lumped together in the P&L and Balance Sheet? This seems to be a common inefficiency where they ask the question and we have to break down each code and manually provide the info, as they don't have access to our reporting templates / edit layout function. Hopefully there will be an editable field / automatic tick box in the Cover Letter for the Tax Returns where the Trustee for the Trust is a Company (Corporate Trustee) where we can put the name/s of the client in the Salutation and not the Corporate Trustee. Our tax returns would show "Dear Company Name" which sounds / looks wrong instead of "Dear Individual Name"

  14. In the last week the ability to add multiple tasks to new employees has been taken away, you can still add all jobs but without the ability to add all tasks or some as well that feature is now useless.

    please can you tell me why this has been removed and bring it back asap. I have staff unable to complete time sheets at the moment.

  15. I'd love to have the ability to get XPM to email clients once their returns are lodged to confirmed it has been done. So many clients ask for confirmation and emailing each one takes time, a simple email from xero would be great.

  16. Xero Practice Manager - Bulk unlock or lock of timesheets

    We have a large volume of staff (over 50) so being able to submit timesheets which come across from FYI after we have completed our pay runs in bulk would be ideal.

    In the same vein, being able to bulk update timesheet lines which may contain the same error would also be handy.

  17. I wanted to put a suggestion that when hubdoc is getting the totals, that they get the correct total and maybe even a prompt when it is unsure of the subtotal and total. I have had a few issues come up where hubdoc is bringing in the incorrect total.

When we set up a new lead and allocate it to an owner, the activities should auto allocate to the owner, instead it is setting to the responsibility of the admin person setting up the lead resulting in additional time taken to reallocate each of the the activities causing unnessary time consumption

As XPM integrates with FYI workflow, and you can toggle between viewing a workflow by jobs or by task, it would be a massive help if when importing annual compliance job templates with pre-defined tasks, you can define the task start and due date as part of the import and not have to individually go through and update these once the jobs have deployed.
