Xero Practice Manager - Tax
I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.

Clients - Ability to assign multiple job numbers
we use job numbers to identify the works being carried out so I entered the Job number in Contacts against the Client name but this number comes out on the invoice against the client name on the address block. It would be good to be able to have multiple jobs nos for each client so we can identify the job no. on the Customer page

Practice Manager | Client - Add Non Active to Return Type
Ability to add "Non Active" into return type when setting up clients in XPM for entities who are on our tax agency list but do not have to file a tax return.

XPM - Enter Ad-Hoc time against a historical date
Ability to enter historical Ad-Hoc time. If entering ad-hoc time for yesterday or older - you have to enter as todays date, then edit the entry to change the date.
Would be much easier to have the option to select the date in the initial posting - rather having to edit.

Tailor system data fields i.e. customise Year End date.
Ability to amend or remove some of the system data fields such as 'Year end date'. Not all clients need a year end date (for example if they have just signed up for some consulting work). We have successfully used 'custom fields' to tailor XPM to match our client database needs and it would be great to also have control over some of the custom fields to remove as we don't need all of them.

There is an issue with AIM reports going direct to filed tab and have to be individually moved to archived.

XPM - Bulk edit Milestone
Bulk edit milestones
I am trying to utilise the Important Dates page in the Job Manager and there is older jobs that are clogging up the page with overdue milestones that no longer apply. How to I remove all of these in a bulk process? There is over 3000 milestones that need to be removed. Currently support has told me there is no way of doing this apart from deleting each milestone on each job one by one.15 votes -

Currently, the custom report allows the user to add the Related Client's Name only. Would be good to be able to include a unique identifier as well for the related client, such as the Export Code for that related client.1 vote -
Profit and Loss - Tracking categories in rows and annualised per periods (in columns)
P&L - Tracking categories (cost centres) in rows and analized per periods (in columns) . When I run this report on xero, it shows me in the same column (period and cost centre), the cost centre should be displayed in rows. Really annoying that this option does not work properly as its impossible to analyse anything.

XPM | Job Manger - Bulk allocating Task/s to Multiple Existing Jobs
We have the AS' downloaded from ATO automatically and this creates a new job for every AS. We then need to add an AS task to every job individually.
Would be great to be able to add task/s to multiple jobs in one go - similar to how you can assign staff/manager to multiple jobs in one go.

Practice Manager - Update multiple Client Group Details at once
Would be great if we could update fields in one go for multiple entities across a group (similar to how the address field allows you to). For example, the Partner, Manager, Class, etc is generally the same across the group (how we use it), so it would be good if we could update these sections for everyone in the group in one go (even if we need to access one of the entity profiles, and from there it asks if we want to update the other entities as well).

Practice Manager - Bulk Job Name Update
Currently, there’s no functionality in Xero Practice Manager to edit job names in bulk. This would be an extremely useful function for us. For example, we have a large number of Client Services jobs which need updating and without a bulk update function we need to do this manually, job by job which takes far too long.

Practice Manager - Set which fields are mandatory on client profile
It would be great to be able to customise if the fields are mandatory or not for new client setups. This would allow us to ensure that the fields we need setup are being setup by the admin team.

Client - Email storage (not related to Job)
It would be nice to be able to store all emails re a client that a NOT job specific under a Client Tab.
We are able to do for Jobs which is neat but to enable us to store general emails under the client would be good. I guess they would need a unique email address just like the job storage of emails? We have tab for Jobs, Documents etc so one for emails with an address would be nice.2 votes -
XPM invoices - show a total for the calculated (WIP) column
In XPM, there is a subtotal of all the amounts of each task in the fixed price column. It would be handy to show a subtotal of all amounts for each task in the calculated column. This would allow you to see, at a glance, the write up/down for the invoice.

Practice Manager | Clients - Multiple 'Primary' contacts
Only one contact in XPM can be a 'Primary' contact so our correspondence pulls through only the salutation for that contact, however the entity may be a partnership, trust or company and need more than one person included. This means we need to manually add any other salutations, which is not ideal and leaves room for error. The option to add multiple 'Primary' contacts would solve this issue.
