Xero Workpapers - Xero Hotlink to link to new Account Transactions report
The Xero Hotlink button should open an Account Transactions (new) report for that account rather than the old Transactions report, for many many reasons.

Hotlinks in workpapers will now connect to the new reports in Xero. If a workpaper links to the Account Transactions, Bank Reconciliation, Aged Receivable Detail, Aged Payable Detail or Fixed Assets Reconciliation report, you'll be able to use exciting features that will help you get quick access to answers and streamline your financial analysis.

Given old version reports will be unavailable from 31 July 2023, you would hope this is already on their development timeline. But would be nice to have access to new Account Transaction sooner, given it has been around for a while already now
