Xero HQ | Client list - Option to view client codes
We use client codes for all our clients. There is an option to input this into the client record, but it would be good to be able to see that on the screen and sort by it, rather than just alphabetical list of clients.

It would be great if the client code could appear near the client name on the client record. We have it set up as a custom field but this is three quarters of the way down the client page screen.

Because the company name in HQ does not automatically update, when the company name is changed in the Xero account this is needed to be able to work out who the client is when the name is changed.

Client Code is important for a Tax practitioner as we have to do filling based on Client Code. From my experience I have got 20 to 30 clients that their last name is same. In that case it is easy to find the correct client from a thousand client list and it is easy to get the filling the clients hard documents. So I am requesting XERO to add an extra column at practise management.

This is key for us. Currently trying to locate the client out of the list makes my hair naturally fall out. Client codes have been a central hub of client management. In our practice the code tells you SO much about who the client is and their relationship in the client structure. I HAVE BEEN WANTING THIS SINCE DAY ONE

This is a key missing piece of the puzzle from Xero! The 'client code' box in Xero HQ is not linked to anything and not reportable so it's completely useless and ALL accountancy practices use client codes to lookup their clients' attributes e.g. who the manager and partner is.
It would also be good to fill it in once here, and then for it to pre-populate the 'client code' box in the billing and subscriptions area, if we are the subscriber for the Xero licence.
Xero preach efficiencies through integrations, and not having to fill data in multiple times in multiple locations, so it would be good to get this sorted.
