Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…An error occurred while saving the comment SCOTT COLLINS commentedConsidering Taxpayers requirements to keep files for 5 years then clients effectively loose all docs on close of their files. If XERO cant provide the bulk ability to down load attached docs in a meaning full manner then they need to provide the XERO file in read only file for 5 years past the date of stopping the file

Appreciate the feedback for the General Ledger Summary report, Kala.
I wanted to confirm it is possible to reorder columns within the General Ledger Details report (like my image below). Is there a specific reason you'd like this in the summary too, or does this possibly meet the needs you're after?
An error occurred while saving the comment SCOTT COLLINS commentedI think the real issue is that the General ledger doesnt follow any LOGICAL time tested format. The sort by account code doesnt work and at no point in time have I ever wanted to look at a General ledger by Alphabetical order. Im 100% sure no accountant has thought to themselves Lets look at Accounting Fees ... Accounts Payable ..... Then Admin Fees. The standard view for any report should be the STOCK STANDARD MOST COMMONLY used
Please can you have one go at re-ordering that report then realise that Sort doesnt work

The default should be Sorted by GL Account code. Who wants to look at a GL with Accounting Fees next to Accounts Payable. SHOULD BE Revenue , Expenses . Capital . Assets then liabilities

An error occurred while saving the comment SCOTT COLLINS commentedThis is key for us. Currently trying to locate the client out of the list makes my hair naturally fall out. Client codes have been a central hub of client management. In our practice the code tells you SO much about who the client is and their relationship in the client structure. I HAVE BEEN WANTING THIS SINCE DAY ONE
