Make the ABN a live link to ABN lookup so we can easily check ABN details

Better Search functionality is a major downfall of XPM, we use client codes as we have similar named clients and connect clients and a code is imperative to avoid any GPDR breaches - also not being able to add columns to the Client lists to include other fields is not helpful.

When we search for a client in HQ, can it please also search Organisation (Display) Name and Trading/Legal Name. This would make it make easier when clients go by their trading names and we need to use legal name. Thank you

100% agree. Other software have the functionality to search for both legal and business name. This is a shortcoming of XPM.

It would be very helpful to have a function available to search for a client under their business name. We have a lot of clients who are sole traders that have a registered business name and it would be good to see all this in XPM and be able to search for the business name to enter the client profile.

It would be nice if the software could search by a entity's registered business names or previously know entity names and it bring up the current company file.

We are able to add previous names or business names to the custom fields under a company's profile, but unless you know all the names by memory it can be hard to match up clients when you receive correspondence address to the business name and no ABN is mentioned.

Currently when this occurs we have to either search ABN lookup or ASIC register and trying to get relevant information we can then use to search in XPM practice manager like the ACN, ABN or possibly another related entity name.

It'd be extremely helpful to have a field available for any type of client where a registered business name can be recorded, and if the business name is searched in the client list, the entity that the business name is recorded against shows up.

For example, if Joe Bloggs Pty Ltd owns the business name Bloggs Flowers, we could search for Bloggs Flowers in XPM and Joe Bloggs Pty Ltd would show up.

Would like to see the ability to search for clients based on company registration number, we also create custom fields for other tax registration numbers such as VAT and PAYE and would like to be able to find the client based on these numbers. Reason for this being tax authorities in South Africa tend to send communications with only the tax number in the communication and not the tax payer name
