Hi everyone, we'd like to share an update on this idea with you all - As announced at Xerocon there are exciting changes coming for practices with Xero Partner Hub!
With the Xero Partner Hub you'll have a unified client and staff experience. We'll be providing some additional Client detail fields including Date of Death for Individual / Sole Trader business structures.
This'll be rolling out to all Xero partners in early 2026, with the beta being available from November, starting in Australia and New Zealand - Find out more on our website

Hi all, we wanted to share an update for our US customers that sending invoices via SMS is now available! We have just released this functionality and you can use the same Xero Central article as shared in the last update to understand the in's & out's of how this works. After this release we will be working on delivering this to the UK and NZ markets. As mentioned initially this is limited to the Stripe payment service but we will also be expanding this other payment services down the line.

Ability to send SMS messages via Xero either with integration with FYI if possible to record details of SMS sent. Currently we use SMS notify via Handisoft/Acess/Sage where you pay for SMS messages per message, but we have changed to Xero and it doesn't have this function.

Hi Matthew, it appears that FuseSign is already an integrated app Partner with Xero. As they've designed and built their integration with Xero themselves they'd it'd be best to approach their support to see if this is something they'd consider extending their integration for.
You can find their support contact details at the bottom of their app store listing.

We use FYI for our document management and FYI is linked with XPM and Fusesign so you can send documents from FYI to Fusesign using the "signature tab" and it picks up the XPM contact details for signing.

Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

Automatic BAS going into wrong jobs is a pain as well. You should have the ability to move BAS/returns to another job. Also when you amend a BAS or return it should be able to be attached to a new job, not the original job that is, most of the time closed.

Automatic BAS going into wrong jobs is a pain. As above, you have to delete BAS and attach to correct job. I think subject should be moving BAS/returns to another job. Also when you amend a BAS or return it should be able to be attached to a new job, not the original job that is, most of the time closed.

This would also help with the integration of Xero Blue which we use for invoicing, as Xero blue doesn't accept duplicate names and mixes up contacts based on identical client names and you end up sending the invoice to the wrong client.

Hi team, we want to share an update with you all here. As announced at Xerocon we have Xero Partner Hub which will combine all your practice tools into one experience. Along with the changes from the client list you will be able to add Organisation name and Legal/Trading name as columns which will be be searchable within the Client list.
So, where a client's Xero org is connected this data will pull through to the list and you'll be able to search by the client name, organisation name or legal/trading name. Find out more and prepare for the Xero Partner Hub on our website.

Hi Renea, I notice you added your idea here to Practice Manager, can I just confirm - Are you looking to search Client contacts within Practice Manager, or Contacts within an individual organisation? Thanks

This would definately be an advantage, since we may have 2 clients with the same name, searching by TFN is critical. I also think Renea meant that searching client contacts within practice manager.

We created a "date of death" field as a custom field in XPM. However, would be good if you could add it under Tax and Company so that the date filters through to the "date of death (if applicable)" field in the individual tax return.
