  1. It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

  2. Would be very helpful to have repeating tasks within a job. For example, if doing work for a client over the financial year there are a list of tasks every month. There is no effective solution when there are different staff assigned to different task within the client job. Repeating tasks with staff assigned for the year would allow you to keep track of what has been done & what still needs to be done for each month. (Monthly checklist for July, Aug, Sept,...)

    Currently the only solution is to have a set of tasks and un-tick these each month.…

Currently when XPM gets the Summary of Earnings information from IRD and imports this into the XPM tax return, this imports all the names of where they have earned income from in CAPITAL LETTERS. This isn't very friendly to the eye and we will often go in and rename each of these imported lines so they look nicer.
    Or if these aren't edited, but other data is added e.g. business income, then the format won't match.
    All caps is very ugly!

  4. Assurance dashboard and user activity in XPM.

  5. Is it possible to have a "heads up" on what changes are being planned.
    For example, the procedure for client deletions has just been changed so that a client with IRD Number/Tax Return cannot be deleted, with no notification to us as users that the change was being contemplated, let alone actually happened.
    This then leaves us asking for the change to be undone.
    If been advised beforehand, could have suggested options which be suitable to all parties and mean that reprogramming is not required.

  6. It would be great to be able to move timesheet entries between tasks/jobs from within a draft invoice.

    Currently if an employee has allocated time to incorrect job or task, it appears the only way to correct this is to delete the invoice, open the job, move the timesheet entry and then create a new draft invoice.

  7. XPM Standard reports - we need more filters added here for example ability to select partner/manager instead of running the full list. even being able to filter by job category would help on all standard reports.

  8. I would like to place feedback around user settings, The user permissions are limiting and weird ones seem to go together. Currently all staff can see everyone's timesheets, we we're advised to remove the financial setting under financial privilege's to remove staff access to timesheets, in doing so staff could no longer see budgets on jobs, therefore we had to give all users back that permission, in effect allowing all staff access to everyone's timesheets it just doesn't make sense.

  9. New Job Manager Budget % - base on $ not time.
    Please give us the option to set the budget % based on the fee not time.

    As our jobs are created though the Ignition integration, our fee budget $ is prefilled. We don't set the time budget as this would be a very manual process.

  10. Xero advisors in the US are climbing an uphill battle since Xero is not well known, I would love it if I could get on the advisor directory with less points. I cant get Xero clients without the directory but I cant get the directory without Xero clients. Its a catch 22

    Like the Tax reminders for provisional and student loan but for GST and maybe even PAYE, so if you create and file the GST return though Practice Manger it feeds back info on what is outstanding and what has been paid with the option of sending reminders out to clients on payments due about a week out from the final date.

  12. We have an abundance of deregistered clients/entities in our client list. We would like the option of archiving these clients, but if they are still linked through the group, then they still show up under the group profile - but maybe in a separate section, so the group profile could list current clients and archived clients.

    Ideally, we want to archive them because they aren't an existing client anymore, however, we would still like them to be visible/searchable with the client data, so we can see their historical entities and for other reasons.

  13. There is currently no functionality to either re-name or disable the standard business structure types provided in XPM. For example "Not for Profit" is technically an entity classification - a NFP classification could apply to a Private Company, a Public Company or an Incorporated Association to name a few examples. We have used custom fields to profile these types of classifications separately. Currently, we have to manually review business structure profiles & update these where types outside our guidelines have been applied.   15. Currently we are only able delete Client Groups in XPM. That means there are 'inactive' groups when the clients move on making it harder to see how many Groups you are actually working with.

    It would be great to be able to Archive instead. This would keep the Group Count 'clean' and you can still report on Groups

  17. Ability to set the client branding theme in XPM to push across to Xero. This comes from the branding theme set at the client level not working as the firms default branding theme currently is applied to all invoices.   18. I would love to build out a customizable reporting dashboard for each client, that I could grant specific access to. It could include specific monthly reports, live reports (like a rolling 12 month p&l for example) or widgets with live reports (for AP and AR) like on the current Xero dashboard. Perhaps include some KPI calculations. As an accountant, I could prepare the dashboard for each client's needs, and then email them a link to the dashboard each month when the accounting is updated.

  19. Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
    Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).

  20. It would be great to be able to move job costs to another job in a similar way that you can move time sheets. More often than not costs are captured on an incorrect job and it is a "pain" to delete this and then to re-capture on the correct job.
