XPM - Create recurring costs / disbursements in a job
It would be great to be able to set a cost to automatically repeat within XPM. For example a subscription cost to be applied against an annual job on a monthly basis.

XPM- Option to tick off multiple tasks
If we have the functionality of creating multiple tasks then it will be a good idea to have functionality of ticking off multiple tasks also. As this will save in energy and time.

Xero Practice Manager (XPM) Remove yourself from a practice in
It would be ideal to have the ability to remove yourself from a practice in XPM. For example, if you are consulting to a firm and they aren't maintaining their staff list and removing access promptly when the contract is complete, you would be able to have more control over the security of a file and keeping your list of practices clean by being able to remove yourself from their practice.

XPM - Ability to set historic Capacity Levels for the Productivity Dashboard
The productivity dashboard does not have the functionality to automatically account for staff start dates. It calculates capacity for the whole year which does not work for staff commencing mid year. There's no functionality to set a historic capacity level. The workaround is to manually adjust the reporting date for the productivity dashboard to account for each staff's start date or use the Time Productivity Report as an alternative. I'd love to see this feature improvement / functionality in the future.

AU Tax - Schedule EFT reconciliation reports
Provide the ability to schedule requesting on a daily basis the EFT Reconciliation reports in XPM, currently being a manual request locked behind Business settings permissions.
Provide also the resulting reports in either a Custom Reports area or standard reports so admin staff without the Business Settings permissions can view the ATO EFT reconciliation reports, filtered by date and Tax Agent Number. Possibly add a permission to view these reports as a separate permission.11 votesThanks for supporting and sharing with us how scheduling of reports could enhance your workflow. XPM - Report audit trail
Audit trail to see who has created / amended / deleted custom reports. We had a situation where a report was deleted and unable to identify who had inadvertently done this.

XPM - Hubspot Integration
Xero Practice Manager integrated nicely with Hubspot for about 10 years. Quitely it's been killed off in 2024 for some reason.
XPM is a major practice management platform, and Hubspot is a major CRM. I don't know why Xero would kill off the integration. But as a practice we need to have the ability to easily market/email etc to our client database. Without an integration in 2025 this is crazy.
The development work would be minimal considering it was already working, and even working with the single client record.
So please turn the integration back on for your partners.

XPM - Easy view of clients government gateway credentials.
Would it be possible to visibly see the Government Gateway currently set up for HMRC submissions for each individual client? At the moment I believe this isn't available, however it would be helpful to be able to view this information via Practice Manager

XPM | AU Payroll - Notifications when a pay run is paid
It would be really helpful to receive notifications when a client pays their payrun.
Especially for our large PAYG Withholding clients, where we send them an email of the tax withholding payable. As large PAYG Withholders only have a roughly a week to pay, an email notification would be a timer saver. As we wouldn't need to log in to check that the pay run has been paid.

XPM | Jobs - Change order when moving time
When moving time to another job in XPM and you start typing the client name that the time is to be transferred to, it appears at the very bottom of the list, So you always have to scroll down the screen to see the job that you want to transfer it to. Could it please appear at the top of the list on the screen?

Practice Manager - Sorting Draft Invoices by Job Type
Sorting Draft Invoices by Job Type
Every quarter we invoice a large amount of standard disbursement costs these all come from a particular job type.
It would be great if we could sort by job type so we could bulk approve these invoices. Currently it looks to sort by job number. This means when I 'select all' I have to manually go through and untick the draft invoices that have another job type. I have tried to set a filter to only show text with 'Quarterly' which shows in the job type but this produces no results.

XPM - Report all business structure/tax types to see who is payable
It would be great if there were the ability to run a report of all business structure type Tax returns (AU, CTR, PTR, SMSF, TRT) with who is tax payable and refundable.
At the moment, we can do this for some business structure types, but not all and when adding in these columns, it immediately removes all clients.

XPM - Allocation of job write off/on against users
We have just been advised that we cannot allocate write off/on to jobs rather against individuals or apportioned across those who have charged time to the job. At times, jobs are short quoted for reasons and it's unfair to impact someone's recoverability due to business decisions. There has to be a way to record such write offs without impacting staff or teams time directly rather recoverability of the job.

Practice Manager | Recurring Jobs search - Show results irrelevant of special characters
The recurring job search is sensitive to macrons etc so clients are not showing up when you search. This is unlike the client search which picks up the client whether there are macrons or not.

While we don't have immediately plans around this we'll keep an eye on the interest for this here, and share if any plans are made.

XPM - Sync contact groups to Xero
Sync clients grouped in Xero Green to Xero Blue. Currently groups can be created in Xero Green and Xero Blue independently but are not synced or linked. It would be efficient and helpful to sync the groupings we have created in Xero Green across to Xero Blue.

XPM - Missing Time
Help business owners and team leaders easily identify where staff have submitted time for a week that is less than their capacity. That could be something on the dashboard or a report. XPM currently allows a staff member timesheet to be submitted without any warning that it is below the capacity amount. I shouldn't need to manually review and compare to the different capacity hours for full time and part time staff.

Practice Manager - Stop costs/disbursements being added to a Closed Job
It would be great if they system would not allow disbursements/ costs to be added to closed jobs.
This can cause a lot of admin work when Xero fees are bulk imported to our clients accounts job but is then closed once the accounts have been completed. We have too ensure the job number is updated on the import each time we close a job as the system will allow bulk uploads. It would be great if an error code showed and did not allow this to occur.24 votes -
XPM - Replace the fax number field with mobile phone number
There are client level fields for phone and fax numbers. We have not had a fax machine in the office for a number of years. and it would be more useful to have these fields nominated as landline and mobile numbers. Consideration would have to be given to how this meshes into FYIDocs and FuseSign as FuseSign has issues if the phone number field does not meet its defined parameters.
