  2. It would really make my life easier if you could please allow the [Month] [Year] option to label on the task for recurring jobs. This would allow us to see in blue Xero the label of the task namely month and year when invoicing our clients. This would be really helpful when identify numerous jobs and tasks for the same client as the job name does not appear on the invoice in blue Xero. Also, with using the [Month] feature, it would roll over in the next recurring job on its own.

  3. XPM job financial summary is available from the job screen and financial tab, under "print financial summary". As currently prepared the financial summary does not report actual invoices and total amount invoiced, in addition the report does not include the profitability measures for rate per hour and recovery percentage. This would be useful to have these calculated and presented at the top of the report.

  5. On the timesheet entry page, allow users to type keywords in the "Job" section and show search results.
    At present you have to click the dropdown, which lists all open jobs, and then find the job you are working on.

  6. It would be great if we could use Collaboration Manager to assign emails directly to the Client, rather than a Job or a Quote. These emails would then be automatically stored under the Notes tab in the Clients screen.

  7. Contacts in XPM are used when integrating into other systems and each system reads thedetails slightly differently. As the 'Position' field and the 'Set as primary' field are unique to the client that the contact is being used for it would be great if the 'Salutation' and 'Address' could also be unique to the client.

    This would stop the necessity of having the same contact multiple times in XPM just to enable slightly different versions of the salutation of address for different integrations, therefore having a cleaner useable system of contact in XPM.

  8. Provide the ability to schedule requesting on a daily basis the EFT Reconciliation reports in XPM, currently being a manual request locked behind Business settings permissions.
    Provide also the resulting reports in either a Custom Reports area or standard reports so admin staff without the Business Settings permissions can view the ATO EFT reconciliation reports, filtered by date and Tax Agent Number. Possibly add a permission to view these reports as a separate permission.

  9. AUDIT CHECK FOR DIVIDENDS RWT AND IMPUTATION CREDITS IS TOO SENSITIVE - IT IS PICKING UP VERY SMALL ROUNDING AND ALERTING.
    Xero needs to allow for the "rounding" to be accepted - maybe expand the parameters. Unless we go into the return and round it up or down (which is a terrible waste of time) then the alert stays there, and we then get the scenario of anybody looking at the return wondering if there is an error and then they go and check - once again - a terrible waste of time.

  10. Merge contacts (not clients) in XPM? I seem to have lots of duplicates but I don't want to just delete the ones with no jobs/invoices attached to them incase they are linked elsewhere. Is there a way to merge them? All the searches I have done only talk abut merging clients.

  11. Group Custom Fields - it would be very useful to be able to assign custom fields to groups rather than only contacts & individuals, then be able to report on these fields. This would help with areas such as marketing, estimated fee groups, and handover notes.

    We currently use the main billing entity but this would save a lot of time and improve efficiencies.

  12. I'd really love to see an option in My Xero where the default sorting can be set to the file most recently opened by me (as opposed to alphabetical, or the file last viewed date). That way all of the current clients I'm working on will be near the top of the list rather than having to scroll down and find them, or search each time!

  13. XPM Billing - Ability to bill more than the WIP without WIP write-on.

    If XPM allows carrying credits forward for future use against more work in the future, similar to other traditional practice management software, that would be great. For example, Once we completed the job, we sent out the work with our invoice. If we can carry credits of an hour or two for clients to review the work, discuss and send back the signed copy, lodged & sent assessment etc. This additional time can be offset against the credits that we billed more than the WIP so we…

  14. It would be incredibly helpful for us to be able to view the notes on a profile when you view it at group level.

    Currently we don’t use this feature because when a note applies to a whole group (which it often does), how do you know what entity or individual within the group to record the note against.

    Creating the view to see all notes for a group it won’t matter so much where the employee decided to leave that note.

  17. We currently integrate with a range of practice management software, and have a recurring request from customers using XPM to have us add notes to client records when certain actions are taken.

    Currently, adding or updating notes is not possible via the API, however documents can be managed via the API. Client notes are useful as they allow important communications with a client to be logged against that client for future reference.

  19. When accessing through ipad browser (chrome/safari/edge), if entering time through the dashboard, there is not the function to start typing a job name and the list to match with the name typed. This function is avaialble on desktop. This means users need to scroll through the list to get to client name, then click/tap on it. Requesting the desktop site does not work.

  20. Ability to bulk re-allocate invoices to different jobs and or clients.
    It would be great if you could easily re-allocate an invoice (or a cost / timesheet entry) to a different client or job. I have had cases where a clients name/entity type has changed and the recurring invoices have not been posted against the correct client in XPM (old client not new client, even though the invoice is issued under the new name in Xero). Or a client wants to be billed under different entities in a group but there is only one job so i would have to…
