XPM - Multi currency invoicing and reports
Improve multi currency capability of XPM.
Currently, XPM only caters for invoicing out in the base currency and so invoices are done out of Xero. When it compes to KPI reports out of XPM, the info is all wrong. Invoice amounts pull through in invoice currency and not base currency, where as time is calculated in the base currency, these are incorrectly picked up as over and unders. Workpapers - Ability to create confidential workpapers
Having the ability to create a separate set of work papers for the practice that is confidential and not visible to all users.

Practice Manager | GST period - More filters
I would like to be able to create a report of clients whose GST filing is due but there are not enough fields to filter them out. We can select 2 monthly but not select whether they are '2 monthly odd' or '2 monthly even' and we can select 6 monthly but not choose which 2 months of the yer their returns are due. It would be great if we didnt have to enter the same info twice by creating a custom field.

Practice - Ability to anonymize Staff login
My firm works with additional bookkeepers, and we do not want to have their business or personal emails displayed in our clients files.
Ideally, they would be behind the scenes and would just show our practice as connected.
Next best would be showing first name or first and last name, but no email address.
We can assign them an email address from our firm for a more professional appearance, but often their certifications follow their own business/personal email addresses.

XPM - Job financial summary
XPM job financial summary is available from the job screen and financial tab, under "print financial summary". As currently prepared the financial summary does not report actual invoices and total amount invoiced, in addition the report does not include the profitability measures for rate per hour and recovery percentage. This would be useful to have these calculated and presented at the top of the report.

Invoices: Manually export invoice to Xero after an export fail
The 'export invoice to Xero' manual option should be available to staff that have approve invoice permissions. When we have a 'Xero export failed' message and staff correct the error, they need to be able to push this across manually to Xero blue without requesting it from an administrator.

XPM - Select Multiple Jobs to bulk change the job status
Could there be an extra column where you can tick multiple jobs so that the job status can be updated. Not only one job at a time.

Our teams have been working on development of the Job Manager table and we'll soon release the ability to make bulk actions, including being able to update the job state of multiple jobs at once. We'll move this idea across to working on it, and I'll let you know when it's here!

customise All Clients view
It would be very useful to be able to customise All Clients view with your own selection of criteria, not just name, phone number and address. Being able to see the client manager would be beneficial. To be able to select your own choice of fields would be ideal.

XPM - Today option in timesheets
In the timesheets window, a button which takes you back to todays timesheet.
I often have to scroll back, and prepare prior period timesheets, and so it would be handy to have a "today" button, which will automatically return you to the current days timesheet - rather than having to scroll forward (similar to handisoft practice manager).

ATOmate Fee For Service
It would be great if you can automate the ticking in of this 'ATOmate Fee For Service' (under client details) whenever 'Deduct fee from refund' is selected on the tax return currently in process. And if in the next financial year's tax return it is no longer fee from refund, 'ATOmate Fee For Service' will automatically be unticked.

Practice Manager - Reassign invoice to a different client or job
Ability to bulk re-allocate invoices to different jobs and or clients.
It would be great if you could easily re-allocate an invoice (or a cost / timesheet entry) to a different client or job. I have had cases where a clients name/entity type has changed and the recurring invoices have not been posted against the correct client in XPM (old client not new client, even though the invoice is issued under the new name in Xero). Bank Reconciliation: Search for transactions across all accounts
Can we have the ability to search for a transaction , by amount , payee or description across all bank accounts. Rather than having to go into each bank account and sort dates etc and than search. Having the option to choose all bank accounts, rather than an individual bank account would be awesome.
218 votesHi team, I wanted to share that the recent updates for the Reconcile page have now been released to all users. This includes a search bar at the top of the page and includes filters for date range and amount. This provides the ability to look up criteria of your statement lines and narrow down your search.
You'll also find you can now view more statement lines per page, with up to 50 at a time - You'll find more on this and other updates shared on our blog.
We appreciate the ask on this idea is a search across all statement lines, across all bank accounts. I want to confirm this is not something we have plans for developing at this stage, and I'll move this idea back to 'submitted' so we can continue to track and update you if there is any progress of this, here.

XPM | Activity statement - Resend original email
I’ve noticed that when re-sending an Activity Statement from Xero Practice Manager (XPM), it doesn’t resend the original email but instead generates a new one. This can cause confusion for our clients.
Is there a way to adjust the settings or implement a fix or at least give us the option so that the original email is re-sent rather than creating a new one?

XPM - Jobs ordered by state on Job Manager
Would be great on the Jobs panel when sorting jobs by the "State" field that they were sorted by the order of the different states (1 Planned, 2 Job received, 3 In Progress etc.), rather than alphabetically (1. In progress, 2. Job Received. 3. Ready for review) as it makes no sense having jobs listed all out of order as to their actual progress in the workflow chain.

XPM - Hide job state for certain staff
The ability to hide a Job State (eg Completed) from the quick edit selection and within editing a job, from select users would be great.
Eliminating the possibility for a user to incorrectly move an open job to a state that should only be closed by the Admin Team.2 votes -

Hi There,
We are wanting to add a new column under the family group view in XPM to show the budget against the open jobs. Making it easier to see what budget has been allocated again each job to make it easier for billing.

Practice Manager - Ability to merge contacts (not clients)
Merge contacts (not clients) in XPM? I seem to have lots of duplicates but I don't want to just delete the ones with no jobs/invoices attached to them incase they are linked elsewhere. Is there a way to merge them? All the searches I have done only talk abut merging clients.

Practice Manager | Timesheets - Search job by keyword
On the timesheet entry page, allow users to type keywords in the "Job" section and show search results.

Practice Manager - Use Collaboration Manager to automatically add Notes to clients
It would be great if we could use Collaboration Manager to assign emails directly to the Client, rather than a Job or a Quote. These emails would then be automatically stored under the Notes tab in the Clients screen.
