  1. In Tax Statements, under Transfers tab: the "auto mark as complete" needs to happen by both amount and date. So need the ability to set the effective date for the transfer to occur, therefore if IRD does something different we are alerted.

    Currently if transfer is the same $ value or more, then Xero automatically marks as complete, this should not occur. If the $ is more then the transfer has not gone as expected and we need to be alerted to this.

    For transfers that IRD does that are higher than expected we need to be able to set…

    Thanks for supporting this idea, everyone.

    While we know this isn't a perfect solution, the current workaround is to manually track these transfers and we have some help on doing this within Xero Central.

    While we understand the desire for improvements to this process, we want to be upfront that this isn't in our current roadmap.

    As you may have heard from our recent Xerocon announcements there are lots of exciting improvements coming within the Practice space over the coming months that we our teams are developing for.

    While we will move the idea to Not in pipeline, should there be any change around this we will be sure to share with you here.

  2. It isn't possible to add a quantity column to a report, nor is it possible to pull through Qty data entered in Xero or create a cell the Qty can be manually typed into.

    You can add a note column but this would be to link to a section of the report pack, not a quantity loaded into Xero or a box we could manually type the quantity into. Further the notes section functionality is unable to be renamed and can only be linked to other reports in the report pack. It does not work to bring through Qty data.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your engagement and support for adding a quantity column to reports in Xero. We understand there are differing reasons around wanting to add quantity to a report, like being able to track fuel for tax credits, livestock numbers, or hours worked for carbon reporting.

    There's a specific idea for Livestock reporting that we'd recommend anyone interested in this joins.

    To highlight, quantity can be added within the following reports within Xero right now;

  4. When completing a tax return in XPM, have the audit check feature check the IRD number for hyphens so it's in the correct format. If the number is entered with spaces instead of a hyphens, the audit check lets it pass, and throws an error when submitting.

    Hi Franjo, currently an IRD Number validity check is done in Xero Practice Manager tax. Being open we don't have any plans of changing the check that is in place, however we do find most issues are caused when a IRD number is copy and pasted in to Xero and includes lead or trailing spaces which can throw an error.

    We'd recommend typing this in to avoid issues.

  5. It would be great if the FuseDocs API included the ability to pull through custom field data, so that we can use this to drive custom compilations in FuseDocs (i.e. Engagement Letter).

    Hi Sally, is this something you've approached FuseDocs about? Many of our connected app partners designed and developed their integrations with Xero themselves and they're best placed to help with any questions you have on extending their integrations with Xero. You can reach their support through one of the options listed on their reviews page
