    Hi community, thanks for your responses to our update and the continued interest this idea receives. We're keeping a watchful eye on the support this idea gathers.

    As mentioned in my last update our immediate focus for now is delivering more automation and intelligent tools to help you reconcile faster.

    However, we understand and appreciate the pain points shared through this idea and will move the status of this to Accepted as our product team look into more details around this and how we might plan this into the roadmap.

    I'll keep you updated of any developments in this space.

    Please set this up so we can just use same bank rules accross files, seems like this should be in place. Cant be too hard to do it. With more AI and automation this is an easy win.

    I think Xero should bring Ireland in line with UK functionality, it would have been a no brainer as there very similar laws

    Hi everyone, thanks for your interest and good to see how we can be expanding capabilities for our users across the world.
    While we don't have plans of developing this in Xero, we have recently partnered with Parolla to offer a connected plug-in to your Xero organisation at no additional charge to users with an Ireland based org.
    Connected to Xero, Parolla will generate VAT3 returns for direct upload to Revenue Online Services, as well as generating Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) compliant payment files - Find out more here

    Other software providers like quick books online have it in place. I think it should be a priority of xero to focus on irish market, its the same tax and accounting as the uk, it would be an easy market to adapt to
