Hey Community, thanks for all the support shown for this idea. We understand that the core of this request is for business owners and payroll admins to be able to view, edit and complete draft timesheets.
Our product teams have carefully considered this, however we want to be upfront that developing this capability isn't on our foreseeable roadmap at this time.
The idea will remain open for votes so we can continue to gauge interest, as it will be important for when we next review our payroll priorities. Thanks again for sharing with us here, we really do value your input.

This is unbelievably clunky compared to other payroll providers I have used.
I have to click View More > Scroll down > Click the timesheet > Click approve > Click Timesheets > Click view more > scroll down > etc etc etc multiplied by a dozen staff??
Clearly no-one at Xero has used this interface to run a payroll before.

Both of the external payroll systems I used prior to Xero had this functionality. It's honestly pretty weird that these externals provided a better end-to-end payroll processing experience while integrating with Xero, than Xero does itself. I'm going to have to switch back to Pay Hero if there aren't significant improvements to both this and the timesheet approval workflows.
