Hi community, just jumping in here to share that we have recently made an improvement to the groups feature in Xero HQ 🎉
Within a Client record, you can now see what groups they belong to, and add or remove them - check out this article for more information. Please note, this is not available as a report, but is available on a client by client basis.While the team have been really busy working on the single client record, they also hope to introduce a Groups list and group details (similar to what is currently available in XPM) to increase the ability to manage Groups within HQ. We’ll be sure to return & update you here when that’s available.

Adding "Client groups" in the "Custom column view" on the HQ dashboard would help identify which clients are not in a group. When you export the list of clients it would then be easy to filter in Excel.
Also being able to Export a particular client group list to Excel. At the moment, if you select the Client Group to display a particular list of clients on screen and then click Export, it exports the entire practice list. It would be good to export just the particular client list on screen. This would be in conjunction with having the Client Groups as another custom view option.

At the moment, if you want to print/PDF just the Lodgement Declaration in a tax return, you can untick all the other documents (cover letter, tax estimate, schedules, etc) except for the return itself (this checkbox is greyed out). Once printed, you then have to remove/delete the return pages which is a waste of time (and sometimes paper).
Can the return checkbox be an active checkbox (standard would be ticked) so that you have the option to untick it if you just want to print the Lodgement Declaration (or one or more of the other documents)?
