Hi everyone, thanks so much for your engagement here. Your insights are essential as we look to improve Xero. We understand the value of a more streamlined way of working.
Right now, your current options are to request documents and information from your clients using the existing queries feature in Workpapers. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
While we don't have this feature on our current roadmap, we'll continue to monitor this request, and make sure to keep you updated if there's any progress.

Thanks for your support on this idea, community. With Xero Partner Hub slowly rolling out to practices over the coming months our product teams are working on many enhancements that will help streamline and efficiently manage your practice.
As part of the new homepage experience we are looking into a widget that will enable quick access to your most frequently used client files. I'll be sure to keep you updated on further news of this here.

Great idea, it would save us time.
I think it would be great if Xero could not allow you to enter a date outside of the tax year on Xero Personal tax. You can't select it from the calendar but CAN type it.
