Thanks for the support and voting on this idea, team.
We're in the midst of developing a refreshed purchase orders experience, that gives us the basis for new features.
As you may have seen in other recent updates, we have a keen eye on developing backorders, recording part amounts billed and allowing negative stock on hand in Xero.
We'll be back to share another update as work progresses.

I have issues with this too. There are a couple of fairly minor yet critical changes Xero needs to make to their inventory to make it useable for even the most basic of business requirements. While I understand they are not in the business being an all encompassing product, the inventory suits almost nobody and is not useable in its current form, meaning every business neds to get an inventory add-on.

We look forward to being able to share more updates soon with detail of how this works within your Xero organisation. Thanks!

"As a Xero Certified Advisor, I thought we were supposed to have access to Cash Coding no matter which subscription level the client chooses. I was very disappointed to see that it is not available in the Starter Plan, even when logged in as an Advisor."
100% agree with this.
Another case of a software provider treating accountants poorly for profit. I always roll my eyes when someone from Xero says we are working with accountants, cant be further form the truth.
Xero are incredibly close to massively improving their product and their customer satisfaction in one hit, just need someone at the company to see it and realise it.
