Hi community, we understand your needs in this feature and want to assure you were taking on board all your feedback.
As many of you accustom to this idea will know, multiple addresses requires a complex solution. It's been something we’ve been moving towards for some time and we’ve done a lot of back end work that will allow us to bring it to you in the future.
We have 12 different products within Xero that rely on contact data, as well as many of our app partners. This means that contacts need to seamlessly flow across technology, products and all connections on Xero. And that’s exactly what we’ve been working on.
One of the reasons we announced the retirement of classic invoicing is because many of the features being asked for, just can’t be brought into classic invoicing. The old technology has too many technology limitations to enable this.…

We are a wholesaler and send fabric to customers who have multiple address for their 1. designers who may be working remotely[ more often , these days] . Their 2. bulk warehouse where the contact holds goods for future processing. 3.Fabric cutters who are a different company 4. Overseas destinations.
We currently have to put these address into Xero as a Item so that the information as already in the system and data entry mistakes aren't made but it is a bit crazy esp when the rudimentary Xero reports will include the Item in reports that then make the report meaningless or just inaccurate for mamangement information.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stewart Elsegood commentedHi Kelly,
I must be missing something but am just trying to get a basic report that tells me what have been my Sales for the month...ideally it would be nice to compare sales for this month to waht where the sales for the same month in the previous year. This i would have thought would have been a basic report as it is in MYOB. I appreciate that Xero is an Accounting system and not a business system, but getting basic information like Sales ie. what are the total invoices for the month less credits...would be basic. Ihave tried Received Income Summary report as suggested by Support...but of course this is inadequate as it doest include anyone who has paid within the month.
So how do i get a basic Sales report...i'm frieghted to ask my accountany who recommended Xero over MYOB as it would be too embarassing for him.Frustrated Stewart

An error occurred while saving the comment Stewart Elsegood commentedDisplay the Group data for a contact or a customer in the Customer Tab instead of having to go to each individual customer to see what group they are in. Maybe even export the Group data to excel. Currently you can open the Group to see who is listed but not when you are looking at your Customer List.

we have noticed the recent change in Conacts to allow Deliery addresses as well as billing addresses...great start...but unworkable as the delivey address becomes part of the Invoice address...just with the Itlaicises ATTENTION and the details..
Why cannot we just select the Billing Address or the seperate Delivery addresses as some of our customers have delivery to different addresses.
