Hi everyone, thanks for the interest in this idea.
As you can appreciate, user roles span across the entire Xero product so there’s many combinations of permissions our customers want to see us build. Specifically, our reporting product team is very much aware of the challenges with the current permission sets relating to sharing individual reports with different users and are beginning to look into how we might be able to alleviate some of these reporting challenges.
However, at this stage it’s far too early to anticipate or confirm any direction on where this discovery work will lead, but it will inform our next steps. Additionally, as I'm sure you can appreciate there are sensitivities of data access and security. Creating upgrades to user permissions will need very careful consideration. Hi everyone, totally get wanting to get an update from us on the idea here. Having a fair amount of interest from users I can say that Quote reminders are defintiely on the teams radar, however with current focus largely on new invoicing we do not have any immediate plans for this in the next 6 months.
I can assure you, though we mightn't be able to provide updates as frequently as you'd like to see, our product teams are heavily involved in the forums here and our community team often connect to share trends, discuss developments and externally communicate changes that are coming across Xero products. It's important to us to continue developing Xero to streamline payments and help our customers get paid sooner, and your idea here does sit in this realm.

This is really needed and seems to have been around for quite as while with no response from Xero.
Crazy that you can't allow access to some reports but not all. It looks like from the other comments that we are not the only company that needs sales users to be able to access reports relevant to them but not the full company financial reports, budgets etc.
