Thanks for sharing and supporting the idea here, Community. We understand the needs and desire to set a default mileage rate for Xero expenses, however want to be upfront that this is not something we have plans for in the short term.
Our product team are staying close to the feedback, and will continue to review this idea, so if there's any changes planned we'll update you of this, here.

Hi community, returning to share an update on the work we had done here - Though our product team started releasing updates to the notifications we quickly found that this meant some users began receiving a lot more notifications, and we've made the tough decision to switch these back off.
In time our team would like to create controls so users can set notification preferences. However, this will require considerable work and not something we commit to right now.
We're going to shift the idea back to Accepted and soon as we can pick this up again I'll make sure to share an update here.

We appreciate the support in being able to combine multiple expenses, here.
At present, this isn't something we have planned, but we'll continue to keep a pulse on the interest for this here.
Currently, from the web there is an option to 'Approve all' expenses for a single employee. 🙂

I think you need accountants within Xero who liaise with the software developers.
It seems there is interpreting the need rather than people who understand it. Look, there are many different types of accountants. Xero needs people on the inside who have actually done the hard yards inside a commercial business. This is not someone who graduated from university and spent time with the big four firms, no disrespect. That is not commercial accounting, sorry. We should not have to explain this need to you. Make it happen or you will be surpassed by someone who listens to their clients.
